The Rude Culture of Our Time
Have you noticed the rude culture of our time in which those who are rude call us rude for exposing rudeness? They really don't think they are rude but the Bible clearly shines the light on this rudeness.
Since most people who say they are Christians do not know the Bible or know only the parts they like and ignore the parts that convict of bad attitudes and wrong thinking, they are mean and angry without cause and think they are wonderful.
How can an entire culture, thousands of people continue in rudeness and still think they are good? It's simple, when someone uses their own desires and the culture as the teaching tool of good and evil, they will always believe whatever they do is either good or they had a good reason to do it. Often they will "gaslight" that is to deny they did something that others clearly saw.
When we walk with Christ we are walking against the current of the culture. Some call it "swimming upstream." When fish have to swim upstream to spawn it is hard work, they reach their destination alive but beaten up, bruised, and battered.
Authentic Christians live a life sort of like those fish. We swim against the prevailing current of the culture to remain faithful to Christ. We even swim upstream while other "Christians" are floating happily and effortlessly downstream without a care in the world, without a struggle against demonic forces as they flow along with the culture.
Why would the devil bother pretenders, false Christians? He would not bother them because they are already where he wants them to be, that is fooled that they are saved and feeling good about themselves. These pretenders are comfortable and unlikely to disturb their comfort by caring about others or Christ.
The only time we see these cultural Christians come alive with vigor while filled with anger is when we challenge them on some level to stop floating with the world and begin reading the word and obeying what they read.
Challenging a pretender with the truth is like dangling a fresh piece of meat in front of a hungry lion, there is only one way this can go, and that is for the lion to not only devour the meat but to devour us too.
1 Peter 5:8 "Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walketh about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."
Satan hates God and anyone who loves God. He has no problem with pretenders because he has already flattered them into thinking they are good and that it is alright to ignore God. The devil wants to ruin the witness of the believers and destroy their faith and their peace. He can only do this if we let him.
Ephesians 4:27-29
"27 and do not give the devil an opportunity. 28 The one who steals must no longer steal; but rather he must labor, producing with his own hands what is good, so that he will have something to share with the one who has need. 29 Let no unwholesome word come out of your mouth, but if there is any good word for edification according to the need of the moment, say that, so that it will give grace to those who hear."
Speak the truth in the power of the Holy Spirit to those who are perishing and ignore the results, they are not our responsibility. Any response negative or positive is on the hearer.

2 Timothy 3:1-5
Difficult (ragingly insane) Times Will Come
3 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, slanderers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, [a]haters of good, 4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to a form of [b]godliness although they have denied its power; avoid such people as these.
