The more we hangout with those who love their sin and false doctrine, while demonstrating friendliness, the more we validate their sin. We are not to be mean, but we are to remove ourselves and leave them to God.
Our presence validates those we are with. When we remove ourselves they only have themselves to look at. Many people continue in sin because there are plenty of those who will remain silent, even winking the eye as though the sin is nothing to be concerned about.
Sin is so serious that it cannot be in the presence of God. Those who will not trust Christ for their payment for sin and desire to be made into a new creation, will end up in hell. They will have eternal consequences for that sin.
Those who have trusted Christ and desire to be changed by Him will see the glory of heaven, the new earth and an eternity with Christ.
There is no love greater than that of the Savior. He died for everyone because He desired that everyone would choose Him. He is also a righteous and just God, He cannot overlook sin, it is either covered in the blood of Christ for those who are born again, or it will be punished in the fires of hell. Its your choice where you end up.
Revelation 20:13-15
"Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds."
Those who are not born again will be judged according to their punishment in hell. Those who have been changed into a new creation and become born again by the Holy Spirit, will be judged according to the deeds for reward, not for punishment.
Matthew 25:46
"These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life." The unbelievers go to their final death, that is hell and the believers got to eternal life with Christ.
