America is no longer the America we used to know. However we must remember that it has been slowly inching toward all this mess for the past 60 years.
With superficial cultural Christianity comes constant small compromises until all the people believe the compromises are right. So convinced of it they are that they rage at anyone who dares to turn their thinking back to the Bible.
America was raised for many many years on false Christian holidays that God never gave as well as much false doctrine! Our parents used to quote what sounded like good quotes but on closer inspection they were not Biblical.
If we look back just a little to more than just rules we will see that the people were not following Christ, they were following the culture that just happened to be "Christianized" to some degree without being born again.
We are only astonished at what we see today because it is far worse than what we thought we saw 70 years ago.
America has been sliding for many many years into the abyss of moral decay and few noticed until it became so bad that the older folks could not deny its decline.
Many times over the years we attempted to speak truth from the Bible to family members only to be shot down as radical and ridiculous. And, these family members actually attended church regularly. They wanted God's protection but had no interest in Him or in His heart. They wanted His stuff, His blessing, His material possessions but they did not care to know Him.
Matthew 15:7-9 "…7 You hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied correctly about you: 8‘ These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. 9 They worship Me in vain; they teach as doctrine the precepts of men.’”…"
America needs to repent but since it seems as though we are in the end times and will not, then we must warn individuals to repent from their arrogance and phony Christianity that they think makes them look good to man but is disgusting to God. Perhaps someone will listen, perhaps someone will confess their sinfulness and trust Christ Who is the only One Who can save them from their sin and from hell.

Behavior Does Not Lie
One can claim all kinds of things, even love, but the actions are the truth about them. No one can be different inside from the actions on the outside.
Belief Does Not Constitute Truth
Belief is not prove of anything. Just because someone chooses to believe what they want does not mean what they believe is truth.
After all, the devil believed he could overpower God to become not only like him but above him......and he is going to hell forever.
Sincerity is not a measure of truth, it is nothing more than a show of how strongly the desire is within someone to believe what they wish to believe.
Many people who sincerely believe they are going to heaven because they had enough good works in their life will not be in heaven. But to listen to them now they are sincerely convinced they are good enough to go to heaven.
Matthew 7:21-23 "21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.
22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many [a]miracles?’
23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’"

The Rituals of False Relilgions & Cults
Amen! The false religions base their peace on whether or not you measure up or do all the right rituals. This is not peace it is bondage.
Legalists always add rituals and commands that the Bible never gave. They misuse Scripture in order to keep control over those under them.
There is no love in these cultic religions any more than there is love in the cult like false Christian systems that parade themselves the truth.
They give commands like "don't judge", "don't touch" this or that, so many dos and don'ts that God never speaks and count them as necessary to be accepted by them.

Catholicism is full of Man-Made Traditions
And, now the protestant church that came out of Catholicism brought with it on its exodus many of the traditions of that system, perverting even the protestant church. They were protesting indulgences of the Catholic church as well as earning ones way to heaven, but they maintained many unbilical and humanistic traditions that lie against God.
The Devil and His Minions
YES!!! WE are dropped into a spiritual boot camp when we become born again. The more we must stand for the Lord in spite of mocking and demeaning the stronger we will get. The devil wants to believe we will give up for his battering, but just the opposite is true. When we stretch physical muscles to make them stronger we are actually tearing them so that when they heal they grow back stronger than they were before they were torn.
Throwing God's Gift in His Face
This headline struck a cord with me because of many life experiences that I and others have had demonstrating the desire of the devil to ruin us. He cannot ruin us but he can ruin others who do not have the Holy Spirit. Spitting in the face of God's gift is common in our day.

This is another way of spitting in God's face. I can relate to this. I made a gift for a daughter once, it took time and effort to make it. She took the gift and brought it back later all torn apart, because she didn't like part of it. She gave me back the part she didn't like and laughed as she handed it to me.
I know her hope was that I would become angry but I didn't, I merely said, "Oh, thank you and said nothing more." This daughter was in the habit of wanting to push my buttons so I would act badly. She wanted me to become angry so she could tell others how mean I was. This was a pattern with her.
This is why I know she was being deliberate in her attempts to antagonize me. It never worked but she bragged anyway that she didn't like my gift and had to destroy it. It was a quilted wall hanging that took time and love to make.
It is because of life experiences like this that I know exactly the motives of the liberals and their work to demean and mock God's creation.
The devil is in the details as they say. He is busy picking and poking at every little thing in order to cause frustration and diminish faith in the born again believer. He is too foolish to understand that his tactics do not work on those who are indwelt and led by the Holy Spirit. We know his tactics, we understand his hate and can resist reacting as long as we are deeply connected to the Holy Spirit.

I am convinced by scripture that those who continue in sin, even defending that sin have never been born again.
1 John 3:8-10 "…8 The one who practices sin is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the very start. This is why the Son of God was revealed, to destroy the works of the devil. 9 Anyone born of God refuses to practice sin, because God’s seed abides in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. 10 By this the children of God are distinguished from the children of the devil: Anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is anyone who does not love his brother.…"
Children of God do sin but they do not defend it nor do they remain in it.
Hebrews 12:5-7 "…5 And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: “My son, do not take lightly the discipline of the Lord, and do not lose heart when He rebukes you. 6 For the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and He chastises everyone He receives as a son.” 7 Endure suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?…"
Those who elevate self continually without repentance toward their pride do not experience the working of the Holy Spirit because they do not have Him living in them. NO born again believer can sin willfully living in denial that they are prideful, the Holy Spirit would convict them of their sin of pride, they would be tormented until they confess, hating their sin so much they never want to return to the old attitudes again.
IF you struggle with pride and any particular sin, get on your knees before the Lord asking Him to cleanse you of it.. Do not leave the floor until the desire to sin leaves you. If the devil comes back and torments you again with temptation, get on the floor again and remain, in other words do the battle. This is the mark of a born again believer, they do the battle against their sin and their temptations in prayer until that sin or temptation has no power over them again.
Many people in the church who have judgmental spirits without compassion are usually those who do not battle the sin in their heart. These people just know how to put on a good show for others but their heart remains dirty and ugly. We know this when they are corrected, the first thing out of their mouth is anger and rage.

Stay and Stand Strong God will not be Mocked
Wow this is exactly right. I have seen the sense of jealousy in divorced people as thought they hold you in higher regard but hate you for it. Its as thought they really do know right from wrong but want to remain accepted for their sin. Those who love the people of divorce, even if they have not divorced themselves have angst toward those of us who do not accept divorce and remarriage after divorce. We are held in low esteem while being punished for our stand against it.

Tell the Truth and Leave the Response to God
In order to avoid conflict in our world today we must avoid telling the truth.
If we are born again believer who love the Lord we must tell the truth. If someone is avoiding telling the truth in order to maintain peace then they are not understanding the life of Christianity or peace.
Peace keepers are those who attempt to make everyone happy, willing to lie to accomplish it. The peace maker is one who tells the truth to fix a problem permanently so that when peace comes it is not superficial peace that fades easily, but rather it is peace that had changed a heart and lasts into eternity.
Peacekeeping only throws the dirt under the rug when things go wrong. Peacemaking cleans up the dirt that will never come back.
Mark 13:12-13 "…12 Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rise against their parents and have them put to death. 13 You will be hated by everyone on account of My name, but the one who perseveres to the end will be saved. "
One of the key evidence of someone born again is that they tell the truth and are willing to take the brunt of responses that will come. Their motive in telling truth is to honor God and help those who need a little extra something to realize there is need for a change.
Those who say what they think people will want to hear are not being honest, or loving, they are placing the desires of ungodly people above God. If we love the unsaved or the sinning believer we will tell the truth for their own sake and for the glory of God.
Luke 12:52-53 "…52 From now on, five in one household will be divided, three against two and two against three. 53 They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.”
If we love people and God as we should our life ought to be dominated by truth.
Speaking that truth in gentleness and without hypocrisy is important as we ware led by the Holy Spirit. Gentleness is more for the unbeleiver who does not understand and a harsh rebuke if for the stubborn born again believer who refuses to listen.
When there is deep sin in ones own life there is no right to be rebuking anyone else. Those who hold themselves as above others, those who are self righteous do not have the privilege of rebuking others for things they are doing themselves. Perhaps they are not involved in the same sin as those they rebuke but they come with arrogance and superiority that is just as sinful as the one they are rebuking.

"To speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people."
Proverbs 15:1
"A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."
Titus 1:12-14 "…12 As one of their own prophets has said, “Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons.” 13 This testimony is true. Therefore rebuke them sternly, so that they will be sound in the faith 14 and will pay no attention to Jewish myths or to the commands of men who have rejected the truth."

As born again believers we must be checking our own life to make sure we are not rebuking someone else for something we are also still doing.
It is common in our day for the narcissist to accuse others of the very thing the narcissist is doing and the others are not. These self righteous ones tend to judge sin where there is none based on how they wish to view a person.
Often their judgments are foolish and damaging to relationships but as long as they feel superior that's alright with them. These self appointed judgers will see a small matter and blow it so far out of proportion that there is no truth left in their testimony.
When the narcissist is told they have wrongly judged and are damaging the relationship their response is to rage harder and move on to gossip with others to gain supporters to their side.
We are living in a world in which truth is demeaned, righteousness is resisted and mocked. When we see this in our world we are experiencing the end times spoken of in the Bible.
2 Timothy 3:1-5 describes perfectly these arrogant self righteous ones who love their self promotion, they are not only rampant among the unsaved, sadly they are also in the church.
2 Timothy "3:1 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.
2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good,
4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these."
Why do I speak of narcissism and the end times so frequently? The answer is simple, the world would have us believe monstrous things that defy God. It would punish us for believing God while working to undermine our relationships with Christ.
When we know what we are dealing with and it has little to do with us but more to do with the tricks and plots of the devil we can more easily resist being manipulated by all of it.
The joy does not have to leave the born again believer because of the times we live in, the joy is enhanced as we grow stronger and as the time grows closer for the rapture, our home going.
So, in all this mess do not lose heart, do not become sheepish and frightened, rather become stronger, more resolute and more joyful as you watch the end times play out just as God said it would.
Taking what is happening personally is tantamount to not believing God. This mess is not about us at all, its the evil ones lame and futile attempt at destroying the faith of believers. The devil cannot take away our salvation but if we let him he can discourage us making us weak and beggarly but only if we let him by focusing on the responses of others instead of Christ.
When we have our gaze squarely fixed on Christ the responses of others will not matter one bit.
Keep going brothers and sisters, its almost over and we must grow in holiness and spiritual maturity in spite of the attacks of the evil one.
