You Cannot Shed Your Blood for Salvation

There are no scriptures that say one can lose what they did not earn.

Ephesians 1:13-14
"13 In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory."

Christ saves us when we trust in Him, then He changes us into a new creation, all old things pass away and we become new. We are trapped in this body of flesh which is fallen but our spirit is changed into His Spirit.

If someone turns back from God then they were never born again, they merely made superficial professions without wanting to be changed by Christ, so God never changed them.

Christ's death on the cross would be ridiculous if we had to pay for any part of our salvation. We make the choice and He does all the work in our salvation, clear to the end of our life.

Ephesians 1:9-11 "…9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life. 11Therefore remember that formerly you who are Gentiles in the flesh and called uncircumcised by the so-called circumcision (that done in the body by human hands)—…"

Our deeds do not save us and they do not lose us our salvation.

Believers do sin, God wrote 1 John 1:9 to believers, He said that if we confess our SIN, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sin and save us from all unrighteousness.

As we confess He cleanses, Christians can be stubborn, losing rewards in this life and the next but they do not lose what He did in them.

1 Corinthians 3:14-16 "…14 If what he has built survives, he will receive a reward. 15 If it is burned up, he will suffer loss. He himself will be saved, but only as one being snatched from the fire. 16 Do you not know that you yourselves are God’s temple, and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?…"

The Holy Spirit does not hop in and out of people, we are sealed by Him until the Lord takes us home.

2 Corinthians 1:21-23 "…21 Now it is God who establishes both us and you in Christ. He anointed us, 22 placed His seal on us, and put His Spirit in our hearts as a pledge of what is to come. 23 I call God as my witness that it was in order to spare you that I did not return to Corinth.…"

Ephesians 4:30-31 " 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, outcry and slander, along with every form of malice.…"

Believers can grieve the Holy Spirit that lives in them but He never leaves them. He will discipline His children as needed. Discipline is for those who are disobedient.

Hebrews 12:5-7 "…5 And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: “My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, or lose heart when He rebukes you. 6 For the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and He chastises everyone He receives as a son.” 7 Endure suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?…"

No one gets to heaven or keeps their salvation by doing it all right! God knew they could not do right that's why He paid the bloody price for us, we could never pay the bloody price because it took the shedding of blood of the perfect lamb, that is Jesus Christ.

Confess to be Blessed

God does not forgive those who do not confess sin and will not bless prayers until sin is dealt with.

Ordained by Man or Led by Christ?

God told us to seek Him for wisdom, through His Word, prayer and direction from the Holy Spirit, we can know the truth.

So many people merely believe what their pastors tell them, not realizing that even having a one man pastor is not Biblical. That's the first way that "Pastor" who is suppose to know so much, is violating the word of God.

The description of the first century church was one in which there was a plurality of leadership, no one was given a title, nor were they considered the "expert", it was Christ Who is pre-eminent.

When a pastor is ordained by man, he and those who ordain him are violating Scripture. Men of God are called by God and those in the gathering recognize the gift of teaching, there is no formal education or ordination of men that makes a man a teacher or preacher.

Those who "ordain" and those who have been "ordained" by men are in violation of the Word of God, following traditions of men rather than Christ.

Most of the time "Pastors" who have been to formal schooling for the purpose of the ministry, are indoctrinated by the institution they attend to believe whatever they are taught. There is a mentality of higher education being superior to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. These men are no longer seeking Christ, they are going to their denominational books, preachers and seminary profs for their enlightenment.

It has been my experience that most "Pastors" are so full of themselves that they will not listen to someone who corrects them. They do not go to prayer to confirm by the Holy Spirit if they are right or wrong, the simply dismiss the one who challenges them as ignorant or not worthy of their attention.

Proverbs 11:2
"When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom."

The churches of today are apostate for the most part, filled with arrogant people who believe they are superior to those in the pews. There may be some very godly men who have walked with God full of wisdom in the pews who are never allowed to preach or teach because they don't have that certificate of acceptance by a seminary or the special letters behind their name to lift them above others.

Some of the wisest and godliest men I have known never attended a formal training in a Bible school or seminary, but they had many gifts that were not recognized because they lacked that human degree. These men were taught by the Holy Spirit through many years of Scripture reading, prayer and life examples that brought the Scripture to life for them.

1 Timothy 3:6 " 6He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same condemnation as the devil. "

Many men in the pulpits today have not yet finished raising their families, they do not have the total life experience that an older wiser man can have. They are novices in life and novices in the Word, but are given authority positions in the man made human tradition of hierarchy in the church. This should not be, it violates the Word on so many levels it would take a book to show it's unBiblical standards.
