Have you ever wondered why our government placed the words; "in God we trust" on our money? Most people think it's because they wanted to trust God but really they made the money their god. Why do they not put this phrase on everything else we use, and not only on the money?
Just something to think about. We can see how money has become so important to many that the people value it far more than they value one another.
Money is not evil, it is useful, but the love of money is at the root of all evil in the world. It's not surprising government is working so hard to give it away to as many people as possible without having to work for it.
Government no longer values achievement for its own sake, they think money fixes all things. They want money to be a distraction from Jesus Christ.
1 Timothy 6:10
"10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
This is why we see so many people who value things and use people more than they value people and use things.
Mark 4:19
"But the worries of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful."
When we put things in their proper perspective we see how clever the devil has been in distracting believers and deceiving non-believers.
