Every false religion of the world thinks their good works will be weighed in the balance and if the good tips in the right direction, more than the bad they will get into heaven, sadly they don't understand that no sin can be in the presence of God.
Our God will not allow ANY sin in His presence, He is far too Holy to allow ANY. What kind of god allows 49 percent sin in His presence. I will tell you.....no god at all, a false god in the minds of those who do not understand the work of Christ on the cross.
Those who believe one can lose their salvation are engaging in a false religion the same as the pagans who are attempting to get their scales to tip in the right direction, based on their good deeds.
1 Peter 1:16
"because it is written, "YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY."
But how can that be? How can we be Holy as He is Holy if the scales don't count? The answer is simple, only Jesus Christ is holy and He comes to live in those who have confessed their sinfulness and desire for Him to come to live in them while changing us into His likeness.
It is not our own righteousness that gains us heaven, not one bit, but it is the righteousness of Christ in us that gains us access to the Father in heaven.

The Twistedness of Today's Mentality
An article came to me about the latest tirade against a company for absolutely no reason at all. I can't post the article here because some of the pictures in the advertising on that site are very bad, so I will just tell you about it.
In case you would rather not read the article, these demented and twisted people are all upset because Hobby Lobby displayed some cotton plants in their widow decorations. The picketers said it was offensive to them because it reminds them of slavery. Even though there are no slaves today picking cotton. This is the twisted and irrational mentality we live with continually now, not only with picketers and rioters but also in family dynamics. The devil is on the loose busy corrupting minds, even getting weak minded people to believe the thoughts he places in their brains.
LOL, LOL!!! Really? I have some sprigs of cotton in a frame that I got in South Carolina when we lived there. It is interesting stuff, I notice too that some of those people picketing are wearing cotton blends in their clothing, perhaps even 100% cotton garments. Shaking my head!!!!

Listen Only to the Holy Spirit
There are those who arrogantly think they have more wisdom and knowledge simply because they attended a Bible college. Sadly their arrogance and need to be elevated in the eyes of others is evidence that wisdom does not come from "education", but from humble submission to the Holy Spirit.
Those that consider themselves wiser or smarter because of their education, need to repent, until they do they will remain spiritual babies until they do so.
Those who elevate themselves prey on the weak and immature to maintain their self exalted superiority. This is sin, it will keep a believer from growing in wisdom and may even be evidence that the person who acts in such ways may not have ever been born again.
Counterfeiters are always arrogant, self righteous and ragers when they cannot convince someone else to elevate them .
Jeremiah 23:16
"Thus says the LORD of hosts, "Do not listen to the words of the prophets who are prophesying to you. They are leading you into futility; They speak a vision of their own imagination, Not from the mouth of the LORD."
Why do I write so many warnings and seemingly unpleasant things? The answer is simple, there are more false believers than ever before right now in these last days, they will have a form of religion but demonstrate by their arrogance that they do not know Christ.
2 Timothy 3:1-5 "3 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. 2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, [a]haters of good, 4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to a form of [b]godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these."
Do not be intimidated by these people, continue that which God has called you to and refuse to listen to the mocking of these self righteous types, they are self deceived and ignorant.

Their Response is not our Problem
There are those who say we should go along with the sinful practices of unbelievers so they will be more receptive to the gospel. Here is what I have to say about that;
What people think or want is not our business, it is our business to obey Christ and model His truth, if people won't listen because we will not sin with them, that is not our problem.
We do not use worldly and sinful means to get people to listen to the gospel, we obey Christ and leave their response to the Lord.

Authentic Worship of Believers
Home churches are the model of the first century church, as well as no salaried pastors. The word "pastor" refers to a gifting not a position or title. It is given to several men in a gathering and they all preach and serve.
It is improper to say "Pastor so and so." Why do we not say "giver Sally" or "server Fred." These are callings and gifts too, but we do not give them a title or position to elevate them.
The modern church, the way it is done, with it's paid one man pastors and worship teams are not Biblical and modeled after the Catholic church, which requires hierarchy to control everyone, the Holy Spirit is not there to lead it.
The believers in a gathering do not need any "worship teams" to help them worship, that is the job of the Holy Spirit. We are attempting to do the job of the Holy Spirit by human means, as though man can do it better than God can.
Our modern churches are ignoring the Holy Spirit in favor of man's leadership. The Holy Spirit is our leader, when we are led by Him, the worship is orderly and beautiful. I have seen it, it is wonderful for the focus to be on Christ rather than human beings in His worship.
1 Timothy 5:17-18 "17 Elders who lead effectively are worthy of double honor, especially those who work hard at preaching and teaching.
Notice the word "elders", not one man, not one who leads everything, but a plurality of leadership. God does not want man in control of the worship, He wants leaders who promote the work of the Holy Spirit through their own obedience to Him.
Galatians 6:5 "…5 For each one should carry his own load. 6 However, the one who receives instruction in the word must share in all good things with his instructor. "
Those paid "Pastors" often refuse any correction, they believe since they have the education they are above everyone else and no one can correct them. This is not Biblical, anyone at any time is called to correct error, even during the teaching.
1 Timothy 5:19-21 "…19 Do not entertain an accusation against an elder, except on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 20 But those who persist in sin should be rebuked in front of everyone, so that the others will stand in fear of sin. 21 I solemnly charge you before God and Christ Jesus and the elect angels to maintain these principles without bias, and to do nothing out of partiality.…"
1 Corinthians 12:7-9 "…7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 8 To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit,…"
1 Corinthians 14:26 " 26 What then shall we say, brothers? When you come together, everyone has a psalm or a teaching, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. All of these must be done to build up the church. "

Judging without All the Evidence is Sin

"And He will delight in the fear of the LORD, And He will not judge by what His eyes see, Nor make a decision by what His ears hear;"
We cannot trust in what we see, nor what we hear from others, it is best to refrain from judging others without ALL the information.
So many self righteous people like to make judgments based on their own prejudices against those they do not like. They think the worst because they enjoy believing bad things about those for which they have contempt.
No one can know the truth about any situation without all the evidence and the testimonies from both sides. If many of the judgments of self righteous people were taken to court they would have so little evidence that the judge would laugh them out of the room.
Be careful how you treat those whom you have judged, you could be completely wrong.
