Praise and Elevate Christ not any Man
1 Corinthians 3:6-7 "6 I planted the seed and Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. 7 So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.…"
As a church, we must stop looking up to man as the authority and someone to be admired and look entirely to Christ.
Who will you bow before when Christ comes, the men who wrote books or Jesus Christ Himself?
Calvin Does Not Deserve Allegiance
Calvin never died for anyone's sin, he never hung on a cross or rose from the dead. Calvin didn't write the Word of God, so why does anyone call themselves by his name? Just asking!!!!
If anyone is born again they have Christ living in them, He is the One Who should be quoted and spoken of as the One to follow!!!
1 Corinthians 3:3-5 "…3 for you are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and dissension among you, are you not worldly? Are you not walking in the way of man? 4 For when one of you says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not mere men? 5 What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? They are servants through whom you believed, as the Lord has assigned to each his role.…"
