When God makes two people one in marriage no man can undo it. It is a spiritual matter, the melding of two spirits, the only thing that dissolves the spiritual glue is death.
Mark 10:8
"and the two will become one flesh.' So they are no longer two, but one flesh."
If you are hated by the culture and rejected by family for standing for the Word of God, do not be dismayed, it is better to be accepted by God than by man.
Luke 16:17-18 "17 But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for a single stroke of a pen to drop out of the Law. 18 Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and he who marries a divorced woman commits adultery."
It is clear that remarriage is adultery if the first spouse remains alive. The only way it becomes complicated is when people use the Bible in twisted ways without understanding to justify sin.
Matthew 23:8-12 "8 But as for you, do not be called Rabbi; for only One is your Teacher, and you are all brothers and sisters.
9 And do not call anyone on earth your father; for only One is your Father, He who is in heaven.
10 And do not be called leaders; for only One is your Leader, that is, Christ.
11 But the greatest of you shall be your servant.
12 Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled, and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted."
Which part of this do we not understand? Only Christ is the leader and only Christ is the Teacher.
John 14:26 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and remind you of all that I said to you."
John 14:16
"And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever--"
We listen to human teachers but everything that comes from their mouth must be evaluated by the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit, if the man is wrong then he must be corrected. If he will not receive correction humbly then he does not belong as a teacher of the word.
Matthew 23:8
"But you are not to be called 'Rabbi,' for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers."
The Holy Spirit is the Teacher for all who have been born again. Any other messenger who speaks must be hidden behind the Holy Spirit, when they speak error they must be corrected by the Holy Spirit in those listening.
Thank you for these videos, they bless me in knowing that others see all this happening in our world today. Most "Christians" I know have never been born-again. The evidence of their lost state is that they lack all the fruit of the Spirit.
Galatians 5:22-23 "22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law." These people have a form of religion but deny God in their lifestyle.
2 Timothy 3:1-5 Difficult (ragingly insane) Times Will Come 3 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, slanderers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, 4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to a form of godliness although they have denied its power; avoid such people as these."
Matthew 7:21-23 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; leave Me, you who practice lawlessness.’"
