I have just decided to try to buy only American!!! Why on earth would I support a country that tried to ruin the entire world with a virus? And, they persecute Christians regularly! Just saying!
Rejecting the cultural Christianity I grew up with to embrace and enjoy a relationship with Jesus Christ. A place to come and share thoughts about almost anything. Especially things of the Lord. Please no Anonymous posts, I enjoy knowing who is writing to me.

What Does Your Life Demonstrate?
To follow Jesus Christ your life will demonstrate following His Word the Bible. If you are living in sin or defending others who live in sin then you are not following Christ.
Just carrying a Bible around and claiming to follow Christ does not mean you actually do.
Following Christ means seeking His Word and Prayer to be led by the Holy Spirit to discern His truth with the purpose of obeying and understanding what He says.
Merely reading the word does not make you a Christian or a follower of Christ. Merely owning a Bible does not make you a Christian or a follower of Christ.
2 Timothy 4:2-4 "…2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and encourage with every form of patient instruction. 3 For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. 4 So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.…"
This passage in Timothy was written to the churches. God knew there would come a time when the churches as a whole would claim to follow Christ but not really be doing it. In other words they listen to the doctrines of demons and lie that hey follow Christ.

There is a new Term, "Frenemies"
Everything We Think!
You can always tell if someone is in prayer and Bible reading a lot, everything they think and do is interpreted the way God would see it.
When they are faced with any decision their mind automatically says; "what would God want." There is no hesitation in their decisions when the Bible is their source for everything.
1 Corinthians 2:14-16 "…
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned.
15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ."
Romans 12:2 - And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Philippians 2:5 - Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
1 Corinthians 2:13-16 - Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
Philippians 2:5-11 - Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Are You Complaining About the "Stay at Home" order?
Many people in America are complaining about this "stay at home" order.
I want to remind you that we deserve everything God can throw at us for our sins. There are so many it would take pages to list them and then I would have "Christians" coming to argue with me that they were not sins.
God said divorce was a sin and remarriage was adultery, but the people refuse to believe it. They argue and fight to defend sin that God condemns.
The sin of abortion, more than 50 million babies have been murdered because people do not want the consequences of their sin.
Gambling, prostitution, filthy magazines, false doctrine, refusing to be rebuked or corrected, stubbornness when confronted with sinfulness. There are many more, this list is very long. Here in the following verses God describes what it will be like in these end times of apostasy and rebellion:
2 Timothy 3:1-5
“Difficult Times Will Come” (Perilous times: ragingly insane times)
3 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.
2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good,
4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these."
Notice these people will have a form of religion based on their own desires. They will make up truths twisting scripture to justify their sin. Those who don't do these sins themselves will approve of those who do them.
Romans 1:31-32 "…31 They are senseless, faithless, heartless, merciless. 32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things are worthy of death, they not only continue to do these things but also approve of those who practice them."
Notice the anger at the righteous people within their own church gatherings for correcting, rebuking, and refusing to submit to the sinful ideas.
Titus 1:16 "They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work."
Matthew 15: 7-9 "You hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, when he said: “‘This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me; in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’”
These are the times we are living in right now. Do not be discouraged from continuing to speak the truth. The response of others is not an indication of whether or not you did anything wrong.
Narcissists will try to make you think you were evil, they will accuse you of character flaws for speaking what God told you to speak. Ignore them, keep trusting the Holy Spirit, and keep going as you are led. What they say means nothing.

Are We Called to be a Doormat?
Jesus Christ was the ultimate doormat, but not in every situation. And, no man made Him one, He obeyed the Father, it was His choice for the purpose of saving mankind.
When someone is wicked toward us we have options laid out in the Scripture. Sometimes we ignore an insult, other times we speak to resolve, and other times we walk away forever when the evil one will not stop their evil.
So here is the big answer: Seek the Holy Spirit for when, who, and where to guide all decisions pertaining to the company we keep.
Proverbs 13:20 “Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.”
First Corinthians 15:33 “Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.”
Psalm 1:1 “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers.”
Proverbs 14:7 “Leave the presence of a fool, for there you do not meet words of knowledge.”
First Corinthians 5:11 “But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler—not even to eat with such a one.”
Psalm 26:4-5 “I do not sit with men of falsehood, nor do I consort with hypocrites. I hate the assembly of evildoers, and I will not sit with the wicked.”
Proverbs 22:24-25 “Make no friendship with a man given to anger, nor go with a wrathful man, lest you learn his ways and entangle yourself in a snare.”
It's essential who we choose our friends. It is not only possible but likely that we will become like those we choose for friends. If our desire for friendship is greater than our desire for holiness, we will hang onto friends who will influence our speech, actions, and responses against the ways of God.
When we choose friends just because they are family who does not obey God, we damage our own reputation as well as slowly over time beginning to act like them to keep them happy with us.
If we lose friends because we wish to walk with God then that is a blessing to us.
If we gain friends who love God as much as we do then that is a blessing to us too.

Rebellious Times
2 Timothy 4:2-4 "…2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and encourage with every form of patient instruction. 3 For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. 4 So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths."
We live in rebellious times, most people will enthusiastically speak about everything as long as the Bible is not mentioned. Sadly we are talking about many "Christians."
When someone is embarrassed or silent when the subject of the Bible is broached, the perhaps you are encountering a pretender, someone who is lukewarm.
Revelation 3:15-17 "…15 I know your deeds; you are neither cold nor hot. How I wish you were one or the other! 16 So because you are lukewarm— neither hot nor cold— I am about to vomit you out of My mouth! 17 You say, ‘I am rich; I have grown wealthy and need nothing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked."
It is difficult to find people in our day who are on fire for Christ, most are lukewarm and most disobey more of the Bible than they obey.
