True Believers Never Leave Christ
1 John 2:19
"19 They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that it would be evident that they all are not of us."
No born-again believer who has been changed into a new creation by Christ leaves their faith.
Those who walk away after believing never really believed. They only pretended to believe, were caught up in the emotion and acceptance of the gathering but never gave their heart to Christ.
Matthew 7:21-23
I Never Knew You
"21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’"
There is more than one way to deny Christ. One way is to say in words they do not believe in Christ. The second way is to say they are Christians but live in rebellion against Him. They deny Christ by denying His Word in word and in deeds.
Deception in the Last Days is Deep and Relentless
One of the biggest deceptions in these last days is the acceptance of the Catholic religion as just another Christian denomination. It is not only not another "Christian" denomination" it is an abomination just like all the other cults.
When a Catholic says "we are saved by grace too", they do not mean the same thing a born-again believer understands. When a Catholic says we are saved by grace they mean with every good work they get a little more grace that gives them a better chance of getting into heaven.
At the "sacrifice of the mass", they are re-sacrificing Jesus all over again every time. They believe the communion host and wine actually turn into the body and blood of Christ. This is cannibalism in their hearts, but they do not realize what they are doing. They use the Scripture in which Christ said "unless you eat my body and drink my blood", which is purely symbolism, to support their heresy.
Christ said He was the Door, the Way, the Bread and other descriptions of Him, to illustrate that He is the only way to the Father. We know He is not a door or bread or a road to follow, these are picturesque ways of saying He is Who we should "go through, follow and drink of HIs wisdom and truth. He is not literally a wooden door, a road to walk on or Bread to eat. The same is true when God said "eat my body and drink my blood" they are symbols that we have taken Christ into us when we became born again.
The Catholic church promotes the confessional where the people are expected to tell their sins to a priest instead of to God. That priest is the mediator between them and God. The priest in this system is given the power to forgive sins. The priest do not shed their blood for the parishioners, only Christ did that.
God clearly says we are to take our sins to Christ alone, He alone has the ability to forgive sins.
1 Timothy 2:5 "5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,"
Luke 22:20
"In the same way, after supper He took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is poured out for you."
Hebrews 9:22
"22 And almost all things are cleansed with blood, according to the Law, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness."
The priests are called, "father", another violation of the scriptures.
Matthew 23:9
"9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven."
The priests and the hierarchy of the Catholic church operate much like the Pharisees in Jesus' days. They wear vestments to be seen as holier than those who are not priests.
Matthew 23:27-28
27 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which on the outside appear beautiful, but inside they are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. 28 So you too, outwardly appear righteous to people, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness."
Matthew 23:4-6 "…4 They tie up heavy, burdensome loads and lay them on men’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them. 5 All their deeds are done for men to see. They broaden their phylacteries and lengthen their tassels. 6 They love the places of honor at banquets, the chief seats in the synagogues,…"
The Catholic church promotes bowing to statues, kissing the hands of Popes, and other acts of worship toward inanimate objects and prominent people. They pray for the dead to get them out of an imaginary place such as purgatory. They have no scriptural basis for any of this because it is all idolatry and demonic. None of this is Biblically based but completley made up by proud men led by demonic influence.
Mark 7:13 "13 Thus you nullify the word of God by the tradition you have handed down. And you do so in many such matters.”
The priests and popes intimidate the people into thinking they are the powers that be and the "lay" people have no ability to know the truth about doctrine. There is no such thing in the Bible that describes a division of "laity and clergy", these are modern words created by men who wanted to control the people.
The people in these systems blindly follow the pope or the preists instead of seeking the Word of God and the teachings through the Holy Spirit.
There is a movement in these last days for the "protestant" churches to return to Catholicism. There have been Catholic traditions practiced by the "protestant" church for a long time now but most who attend these churches don't know they came from Catholicism. Now they have blurred the lines between the cult and the true church so much so that many "Christians" think the cults know the gospel and worship the same Jesus but they do not.
Matthew 7:13-20 "13 “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is constricted that leads to life, and there are few who find it.
A Tree and Its Fruit
15 “Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 You will [p]know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thornbushes, nor figs from thistles, are they? 17 So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 So then, you will [r]know them by their fruits."
The fruit of the Spirit is this:
Galatians 5:22-23
"22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."
These wolves are rude, mean and unkind lacking all the fruit of the Spirit when anyone opposes their false doctrine or leadership. This is serious because it is growing allowing evil to take root in the church.
Do not take lightly God's warning against these imposters and contentious people who divide the church as well as lead many into false doctrine.
Just remember the antichrist will sound very much like these false teachers and false converts. He will do the same thing, pretend to be the face of truth only to bring in damnable heresy and division. Exclude them and reject them to protect the sheep.
2 Peter 2:1-3 "2 But false prophets also appeared among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. 2 Many will follow their indecent behavior, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned; 3 and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep."
Heretical Mobs
If you had to leave a church because heresy was being tolerated and received a spiritual and emotional "beat down" for telling the truth, you have experienced persecution for the sake of Christ.
Matthew 26:26-28 "…26 Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, so that the outside may become clean as well. 27 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside, but on the inside are full of dead men’s bones and every kind of impurity. 28 In the same way, on the outside you appear to be righteous, but on the inside, you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.…"
When we attempt to bring Scripture to a discussion and it is met with angst and even rage, we know we are dealing with devils who are controlling the hearts of those who rage and those who accept the rage.
Luke 11:43-44 "…43 Woe to you Pharisees! You love the chief seats in the synagogues and the greetings in the marketplaces. 44 Woe to you! For you are like unmarked graves, which men walk over without even noticing.”
The person being used of the devil will claim those speaking truth are the devils. They will say the opposite often of what God says in His Word. They use intimidation, mocking, and rudeness to control those who do not accept their false gospel.
When a group of people, the "mob" allows themselves to say and do anything they like but then work to silence those who speak the truth, you have encountered a narcissistic mob.
The clues are often there before the rage happens. The lack of "love, joy, peace, gentleness, kindness and self-control" is clearly evident but we reserve our judgment until the Lord shows us without a doubt their hearts through their rejection of truth.
Whenever there is a pact of silence to keep the peace, the pact of silence is only for the authentic born-again believers, everyone else who goes along with the wicked person is allowed to say anything they want without challenge.
Get away from a group like this because they will not change or listen, nor do they have empathy for those they have attacked. It is a denial of Jesus Christ when the group tolerates and even embraces the false doctrine while attacking the truth.
All that happens in an apostate group is that they dominate and silence the truth-tellers with their intimidation, shunning and rudeness. There is nothing to be done, no more talking, no more efforts will make a difference with those who love their lies. What happens is that the truth-tellers are silenced always and the demons are allowed to take over, there is no way to influence them, but they will keep us from speaking and expressing the truth of the bible, causing others who come in to think we agree with the mob.
Our personal witness is very important, we cannot allow others to believe we agree with false doctrine and lies of demons.
As long as we remain with those who do not value the Word of God by their lives or their witnesses, but only through what they say, diminishes our own Christian witness.
If a person "says" they believe all the things you believe but their lifestyle attitude denies Christ then we must remove ourselves. It is better to be alone with Christ than in group that claims Christianity but denies it in their attitudes and lifestyles.
