Do you find it amazing as I do that the people who have no interest in you, even those you reach out to only to be rejected, think it is weird that we spend time on Facebook with those who love Christ?
These same people mock us for being on Facebook when they too have a Facebook page that they hardly ever use. If we are strange for being on Facebook with lovely like-minded people then why do the criticizers have a Facebook at all and they don't even post on it.
OOPS, busted!!! Perhaps they have a Facebook page simply to spy on those of us who actually use it. LOL
The day I decided to continue with Facebook was the day the Lord told me to "use it for Him." Many of us cannot connect with other believers of like-mind any other way.
There is more prayer and concern happening on Facebook Christian pages than there is in the churches in our own communities or church gatherings.
Personally, I am grateful to God for this means of connecting with other brothers and sisters in Christ who are experiencing similar and difficult things. We can bring words of encouragement and prayer for one another.
May the Lord be praised for His provision for lonely and hurting but joyful born-again believers.
1 Thessalonians 5:11
"11 Therefore, encourage one another and build one another up, just as you also are doing."
