Are you angry that all your pleasures have been closed? Are you angry that you have to wear a mask on your face to shop?
If you are angry about this you are angry at God, He is the One Who did it.
His message to America is that most Christians were not bold about the faith they professed. They were actually too embarrassed to speak of Christ, they left that to the hirelings in the pulpit who love to have titles and prominence.
Luke 20:45-47 "45 In the hearing of all the people, Jesus said to His disciples, 46“Beware of the scribes. They like to walk around in long robes, and they love the greetings in the marketplaces, the chief seats in the synagogues, and the places of honor at banquets. 47 They defraud widows of their houses, and for a show make lengthy prayers. These men will receive the greater condemnation.”…
God said to me, "since you would not speak openly and boldly about me to those around me I will place a mask over your face as a shame to you."
God has allowed wicked people to dominate over us because we did not use our freedom to help people to learn the way of salvation or bring holiness to the believers, we used it to play, honor ourselves and promote that which God hates.
We did not celebrate the Lord's supper as God commanded every time we meet together, but we celebrated instead pagan holidays that mocked and demeaned the word of God. We placed the rituals of false religion and paganism above the word of God.
Then too we endorsed sin as though it were a right and perfectly nature, such as divorce and remarriage. Those who speak the truth about these things are demeaned, mocked, and rejected by those who say they are Christians.
When a believer corrected another believer to help them learn the truth of the scripture they were excluded, rejected, and gossiped about for their dedication to the Word of God.
Yes, this is the state of America because America deserves to be disciplined for its crimes against God and man.
I refuse to hear another mantra such as "God bless America", it is a mockery to demand blessing from God when the country is at its hight of wickedness.
We are not here on earth to save America, we are here to speak the truth to the unsaved so they will know the way of salvatoin. We are also here to help other believers grow in holiness, teachng them to keep their eyes on Christ.
Hebrews 5:12-14
"12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you have need again for someone to teach you the elementary principles of the oracles of God, and you have come to need milk and not solid food.
13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness, for he is an infant.
14 But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil."
All mature born again believers, men and women alike should be teaching others from the Word of God, it is a command. When someone does not understand the way of righteousness we are to correct them and they are to listen.
Hebrews 3:13
"But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
The job of exhortation and correction is a daily one because without it believers can be enticed by other things and drawn away from the truth. Every matter should be handled and quickly to "nip in the bud" every error that the devil will attempt to bring in to the fellowship.
In our day there are few who are rebuking and many who are defending, even fighting to preserve sin.
The country is not going to be saved but individuals within the country can repent and become born again.
John 3:1-21
3 Now there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews;
2 this man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”
3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
4 Nicodemus *said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he?”
5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’
8 The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
9 Nicodemus said to Him, “How can these things be?”
10 Jesus answered and said to him, “Are you the teacher of Israel and do not understand these things?
11 Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know and testify of what we have seen, and you do not accept our testimony. 1
12 If I told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?
13 No one has ascended into heaven, but He who descended from heaven: the Son of Man.
14 As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up;
15 so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life."
