When you are tempted to feel discouraged at how few people may be seeing your posts about the Lord, give that up right now.
The prophets and the apostles had no idea how far their writings were going to go when they penned them for God. They were writing to particular churches, and probably thought that is where it would end.
The prophets wrote on parchment thinking that only the Jews would see it or that one day a few hundred or thousand would see it later. Their writings as directed by God have been around the world thousands of times into the hands of Millions if not Billions of people and continue until the end of time on this earth.
Don't look for numbers and responses as David did. He counted the people in disobedience to God and was punished for it. We need not know where our writings go, only that we obey God in what we write.
One thing that has crossed my mind often, is all the people that the Lord has allowed me to meet, encouraging me in my walk, because of the internet. Never before in the history of the world have we been able to instantly communicate with everyone all over the world in a moment of time.
This is a miracle from God in these last days, when life will all be over and we will be going home. I feel a sense of never wasting what God has given us. There have even been preaching and teaching on the internet that I would never have seen had it not been for this medium. I praise God for it!
If you have a hard time finding a miracle in your life, then you are not looking with eyes wide open. The internet is a miracle, likely it is someone from my generation that would feel this so intensely, since 47 years ago when I got married, I was 18 and there were no such things as answering machines in the home, no call waiting and only one phone in the house attached to the wall. There were no calculators or any of the electronic devices that we use today as a matter of routine.
Our telephone seemed like a miracle to me, it was a rotary phone attached to the wall and no answering machine. We would have to be home to even know if someone called and we wouldn't know who it was until we answered it.
The miracles keep happening, they will all be used for both evil and good so let's be the ones who use them for good, to encourage one another, bring truth to the unbeliever and grow spiritually before it is all taken away.
