Finding Christ and Losing People

When we believe God and His Word it will result in obedience to Him and rejection by most people. Often we find ourselves with very few friends even within the Christian community. Most people are deeply invested in fitting into the culture. They think, "if everyone else thinks this way it must be right."

Matthew 7:13-14 "The Narrow and Wide Gates
13 “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is constricted that leads to life, and there are few who find it."

John 10:9 "I am the gate. If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved. He will come in and go out and find pasture."

Isaiah 35:8 "And there will be a highway called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not travel it—only those who walk in the Way—and fools will not stray onto it."

Nullifying the Word of God by Our Traditions

Genesis 2:24 "24 For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh."

When we look at a married couple after they walk down the aisle after their vows, their fleshly bodies remain two separate people. We see two people, not only one fleshly body, walking down that aisle. This is why I believe that when God said "you shall become one flesh," it meant they would no longer operate independently in the flesh. They will operate as a unit even though each one has a different function within the one flesh unity.

When I have physical problems that I go to the doctor for, my husband does not have that problem because we are separate in the flesh. However, he does have empathy for me because we are one in the spirit, and I for him when he is ill.

When God makes two people one in the spirit, they walk in unity of the flesh.

When we operate in life as a unit in the flesh, we still remain separate people, each doing our calling that supports and enhances the life of the person we have been joined to in the spirit.

I have heard many times the sense of regret that never goes away when two people divorce. Even though they have separated in the flesh, there is a sense of emotional connection that never leaves just because the state allowed for a divorce.

Divorce does not dissolve the spiritual union it only divides the spoils and separates the flesh, but it does not separate the spiritual union.

I am convinced there is a spiritual connection to any children from the union that God created in the marriage. When people walk away in the flesh from their spiritual union, it causes deep distress in the children of that union.

Those who divorce who are honest will tell you they sense a loss that never goes away when they divorce their covenant spouse, the first person they married for the first time.

This is why God said if someone divorces they are to remain single, the second marriage never connects the same way the first one does because it is adultery in the eyes of God and the spirit of the individuals is not melded together.

Luke 16:17-18 "17 But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for a single stroke of a pen to drop out of the Law. 18 Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and he who marries a divorced woman commits adultery."

The modern idea that a marriage can be completely severed by a decree of the state, allowing for a new union with another, is absolutely wrong, and the devil loves it.

The devil loves it because it destroys any possibility of reconciliation between the separated covenant spouse when one of them pretends to remarry another.

1 Corinthians 7:11 "(but if she does leave, she must remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband is not to divorce his wife."

Mark 7:13 "13 thus making void the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And many such things you do.”

No One Can Undo What God Has Done

The world does not understand the melding of two spirits into one when someone takes their vows, this is a work of God not something the two people do. We know a married couple remains two people in the flesh, but their spirit is one and is not severed until death. No person, or government can undo that spiritual melding done by God.

The Wrong Focus Nationally

If you look at what conservatives love about Trump, here they are: the borders, the economy, personal freedom, abortion, and other things that make for a better life. What you do not see is a call to repentance, an authentic gospel, and a brokenness over the sins of the nation.

A leader who depends on the false spiritual nature of someone like Paula White does not know Christ.

The only prayer believers should utter for our leadership is the prayer of repentance and salvation. Nothing else matters; even if they clean up America for a period of time, it will only delay the recurrence.

The more comfortable the nation becomes the less likely it will turn to Christ in sorrow over the sin.

It is quite possible God is showing us how easily deceived Christians have become, that someone is saved merely because he evokes the name of a God he does not know himself.

To our president and his mentor, Paula White, God is merely an idea to be used to gain something.

Isaiah 29:13
13 And the Lord said:
“Because these people draw near with their mouth
and honor me with their lips,
while their hearts are far from me,
and their fear of me is a commandment taught by men,

Ezekiel 33:31 "31 And they come to you as people come, and they sit before you as my people, and they hear what you say, but they will not do it; for with lustful talk in their mouths they act; their heart is set on their gain."

Matthew 15:7–9 7 You hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, when he said:
8 o“‘This people honors me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me;
9 in vain do they worship me,
teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’”

Matthew 23:28 "In the same way, on the outside you appear to be righteous, but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness."

Amos 5:21-23 "“I hate, I despise your feasts! I cannot stand the stench of your solemn assemblies. Even though you offer Me burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them; for your peace offerings of fattened cattle I will have no regard. Take away from Me the noise of your songs! I will not listen to the music of your harps."

The Bible is still True From Beginning to End

Numbers 23:19 "God is not a man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change His mind." The Bible is still True!

Identifying with a Man is to Negate Jesus Christ

If you say you are a Calvinist or Armenian, you are disobeying God. Calvin was a mere man with many flaws sprinkled with Catholic thinking. Arminius was a theologian who also had some wrong doctrine.

God specifically said we are not to call ourselves by a man's name.

1 Corinthians 3:3-5 "…3 for you are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and dissension among you, are you not worldly? Are you not walking in the way of man? 4 For when one of you says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not mere men? 5 What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? They are servants through whom you believed, as the Lord has assigned to each his role."

If anyone calls themselves by a particular ritual, such as "Baptism," it is the same principle. Using one command or man's name to identify us is to not identify with Christ alone, who lives in us. He alone gets glory. We are to embrace all of the Bible, not only one particular aspect of it.

1 Corinthians 1:10-12
I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree together, so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be united in mind and conviction. / My brothers, some from Chloe’s household, have informed me that there are quarrels among you. What I mean is this: Individuals among you are saying, “I follow Paul,” “I follow Apollos,” “I follow Cephas,” or “I follow Christ.”

Romans 16:17 "Now I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who create divisions and obstacles that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Turn away from them."

Titus 3:10 "Reject a divisive man after a first and second admonition,"

Denominations are disobedience and divisiveness against God!

God is not Overlooking the Sins of America

There have been over 64 million babies murdered through abortion since the Roe v Wade decision came down from the high courts of this nation in 1973.....AND we think God is just going to overlook this? Think again!!!!

Homosexual marriage is legal in all 50 states now in the United States...And we think God is just going to overlook this? Think Again!!!

Divorce and remarriage are accepted by nearly all "Christians" now in this country. Rarely do we find anyone who does not support it in one way or another, even if they don't do it themselves, they defend it in others.....And we think God is just going to overlook this? Think Again.

Galatians 4:16 "16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?"

Those who speak out against sin are the ones most abused by those who defend sin.

More of the Bible is ignored and dismissed than is obeyed in our culture, even by those who call themselves "Evangelicals." They think merely 'saying' they are Bible believers is enough; they don't have to actually obey it.

Matthew 15:8-9 "8 ‘This people honors Me with their lips,
But their heart is far away from Me.
9 And in vain do they worship Me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’”

When it is the experience of believers to be excluded, rejected, gossiped against and mocked for speaking the very words of God, then we know we have entered the end of the end times.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 Difficult Times Will Come
3 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.
2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, slanderers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good,
4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 holding to a form of godliness although they have denied its power; avoid such people as these."

Those who say they are Christians but act as though they have contempt for the Bible, claim to have "religion" but deny Christ in their refusal to test their ideas according to the Bible, rather than attempting to fit the Bible to their desired culture, are lying to themselves and others. This is rebellion against God and evidence that they may have never been born again.

Matthew 7:13-15 "13 Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the way that leads to life, and only a few find it. 15 Beware of false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves."

Since it is hard to discern anymore who is of Christ and who is not our job is to challenge those who walk in disobedience to pray and seek God to see if they are in the faith.

2 Corinthians 13:5 "5 Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!"

Matthew 7:21-23 I Never Knew You
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’
23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’"

Warning; many who attend churches every week, even have some Biblical things to say, perhaps even live decent lives, may not be saved because they are walking in their own pride and will instead of the will of the Holy Spirit.

Transformation in Christ is Forever

When Christ transformed us into a new creation, it is His miracle and work, nothing of ourselves. All we do is choose to believe Him and in Him, and He does all the rest. Then He sends His Holy Spirit to live in us as the guarantee of our inheritance.

Ephesians 1:12-14 "…12 in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, would be for the praise of His glory.
13 And in Him, having heard and believed the word of truth— the gospel of your salvation— you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,
14 who is the pledge of our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession, to the praise of His glory.…"

When we come to Christ His way in repentance, and He changes us, then He gets the glory.

Those who come to "religion" about Christ the wrong way through their own pride, only glorifies them and not Christ.

Usually, those who come to "religion" about Christ often have many rules God never made; there is bondage to the system instead of freedom in Christ. They change the meanings of God's Word to fit their desired belief and their culture, that does not give God glory.

Colossians 2:6-7 "Therefore, just as you have received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to walk in Him, / rooted and built up in Him, established in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness."

2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come!"

When the old is passed, it no longer exists, so it cannot rear its ugly head again because it is no longer there. The spirit in us has been changed into His Spirit.

We still struggle with this flesh, battling against sinful attitudes that can lead to sinful actions.

Galatians 5:16-18 "But I say, walk by the Spirit, and do not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh; for these are opposed to each other, to prevent you from doing what you would. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law."

Those who are not saved do not battle the flesh; they trust in it and lean into it. But those who are born again, they battle the flesh and hate their own flesh while desiring the Spirit of Christ to work in them, overpowering the flesh.

Galatians 5:15-17 "15 But if you keep on biting and devouring one another, watch out, or you will be consumed by one another.
16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
17 For the flesh craves what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are opposed to each other, so that you do not do what you want."

Thankfully, God has provided a way for believers to walk in the Spirit so that we do not obey the flesh.

1 John 2:1-2 "1My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate before the Father— Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 2He Himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.…"

When we do fall we hate it and want to be cleansed from it, so we confess it so that the Holy Spirit will continue the transformation process of holiness in us.

1 John 1:9 "9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

If we sin, God deals with us as sons, not as enemies.

Hebrews 12:5-7 "…5And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: “My son, do not take lightly the discipline of the Lord, and do not lose heart when He rebukes you. 6For the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and He chastises every son He receives.” 7Endure suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?…"

If a child of God continues in sin, the Holy Spirit will stop speaking to him until he repents.

1 Thessalonians 5:19-22 "19 Do not quench (silence) the Spirit, 20 do not utterly reject prophecies, 21 but examine everything; hold firmly to that which is good, 22 abstain from every form of evil."

And finally, no child of God keeps on sinning because the Holy Spirit in them will convict them of their sin; they will not be able to remain in sin without serious consequences and deep torment until they repent. No one born of Christ will remain in sin, eventually they will confess to be cleansed. If someone remains in sin, defends it in defiance, and loves it, this person was never born again.

1 John 3:9 "No one who has been born of God practices sin, because His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin continually, because he has been born of God."

When You Grow Others Will Begin to Reject You

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8cCoCDd0Kk

All of God's Word is Important From Genesis to Revelation

This may seem unimportant and trivial, but it is not. Some people speak of the "red letters" of Jesus Christ as though they are the most important or the only important words in the Bible.

There were never any red letters in the original Hebrew or Greek; that was added later by men. The entire Bible is the Word, and the Word is Jesus Christ, all of it from Genesis to Revelation.

It is important because so many people view the "red letters" as more important than the rest of the Bible; it is not so, all of the Bible is authored by Jesus Christ and equally important.

Here again is another human tradition that has no basis in truth; the red letters should never have been painted with a red brush.

Gods Model of Worship

In our culture today so many people have been raised on the modern church system that they cannot wrap their minds around the Biblical model of the church gathering.

They focus on a particular building with a pulpit, pews that all face forward, and a man educated by men's schools and paid by the congregation.

The focus is on the traditions of someone up front leading everything, music, speaking, teaching others, and praying for them.

They focus on the perceived authority of the man up front over the people in the pews, operating as the mediator between God and themselves, rather than trusting in the Holy Spirit to guide each one of them according to the Scriptures.

1 Corinthians 14 is the model when the group operates in this way in smaller groups it is beautiful.

Instruction to the Wise

Jesus Christ is the Only Hope

Deliver Me From the Decietful Unjust Man Lord

How many of my brothers and sisters sense rejection from family and others, unjustly? They think they know something but what they think they know is not the truth, and worse, they don't care to know the truth because they prefer the lie.

Israel is encountering this right now and so are many Christians who want only to discuss the things of the Lord with others who agree about God's principles and about Jesus Christ.

Psalm 43:1 "1 Vindicate me, O God, and plead my case against an ungodly nation; deliver me from deceitful and unjust men."

Psalm 26:1 "Of David. Vindicate me, O LORD! For I have walked with integrity; I have trusted in the LORD without wavering."

Psalm 7:8 "The LORD judges the peoples; vindicate me, O LORD, according to my righteousness and integrity."

Psalm 55:23 "But You, O God, will bring them down to the Pit of destruction; men of bloodshed and deceit will not live out half their days. But I will trust in You."

Psalm 140:1 "For the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. Rescue me, O LORD, from evil men. Protect me from men of violence,"

Often, the violence is covert and secretive; there are no physical wounds, but there has been continual emotional and spiritual abuse by those who hate us. Satan is very clever; he wounds others in ways that cannot be seen or proven.

The ultimate wound upon God was when Satan twisted the minds of Adam and Eve to disregard Him. Even believe the devil's lies that God had dones something wrong. He uses the same tactic with human beings against one another today. He has not changed his tactics or his target.

The devil's target has always been anyone who loves Jesus Christ.

Psalm 17:2 "May my vindication come from Your presence; may Your eyes see what is right."

When we leave our plight in this world with Jesus Christ, we can live in peace and joy, no matter what is going on around us or how anyone treats us.

Hallelujah!!!!

The Church God's Way

The church has been deceived for hundreds of years when it accepted a hierarchy, pews all facing forward, and everyone else in the building being silenced unless they had permission to speak.

Most things within the gatherings were man's idea for controlling the people, rather than allowing them to be controlled and motivated by the Holy Spirit within each of them.

Most people like the man-made system because it is familiar and they don't have to do anything but sit in a pew and do whatever the man up front tells them to do, even what to believe.

Most Christians I have met in my lifetime do not know the Bible, rarely read it, and only then if the pastor tells them what to study.

It is a lack of faith in Christ for men to think they must control others. Sharing truth, even speaking it, is what God intended, not only for one man who is educated by men, but for all the believers in the gathering.

1 Corinthians 14:26 "When you come together, every one of you has a psalm, a teaching, a tongue, a revelation, and an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification."

The one-man-paid-pastor-educated by the seminary system is not Biblical. It is man's idea to control others and Lord it over the congregation. Whenever man thinks up his own ideas to help God out while negating what He commanded, the system goes bad very quickly. And, sadly those who fall into the system become comfortable, lazy, and dependent on that system.
,
Matthew 20:25-28 "25 But Jesus called them to Himself and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles domineer over them, and those in high position exercise authority over them.
26 It is not this way among you, but whoever wants to become prominent among you shall be your servant,
27 and whoever desires to be first among you shall be your slave; 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”

Leaders serve and instruct; they do not have authority over another born again believer, only the Holy Spirit has that Authority.

All leaders and teachers should be subject to the entire congregation and readily able to be corrected or taught themselves.

Now that the man-made system is imploding, full of wrong doctrine and even heresy, people who attended church all their lives are becoming insecure, not knowing how to gather at home.

When the virus shut down the church buildings, many people were upset as though they didn't know what to do when there was no formal building and a paid pastor.

I didn't care that the buildings were closing, I didn't need them, and neither did any others born again believer. Since God made it clear that we can meet anywhere, on any day, at any time, with anyone we choose gave such freedom to the gathering. There are no rules about these things according to Scripture.

In these last days, it is difficult to find a group of people who are meeting Biblically, our families are enough, and in accordance with God's mandate to not forsake the gathering.

Matthew 18:20 "20 For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.”

God never commanded a particular building, or a paid pastor. When we deny what God said we are trusting in man instead of Christ.

It is my belief that God is going to allow our country to become so corrupted that believers will not be allowed to be in those buildings, to show us our own hearts. Are we able to meet in homes and know what to do because we know Scriptures, or will many not have a clue about the purpose of the gathering?

1 Thessalonians 5:9-21 "9 For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep, we might live with him.
11 Therefore, encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
Final Instructions and Benediction
12 We ask you, brothers, to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you,
13 and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.
14 And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all.
15 See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone.
16 Rejoice always,
17 pray without ceasing,
18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
19 Do not quench the Spirit.
20 Do not despise prophecies,
21 but test everything; hold fast what is good.
22 Abstain from every form of evil.'"

Hallelujah! God's way is always best and never changes!

Do You Trust in Christ or Man?

Everything we see in most Christians today is a faith in politics and men they think will give them what they want to feel safe and free. Lies abound everywhere and the people choose to believe them.

Psalm 20:6-7 "…6Now I know that the LORD saves His anointed; He answers him from His holy heaven with the saving power of His right hand. 7Some trust in chariots and others in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God."

Jermiah 17:5 " 5 This is what the LORD says: “Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind, who makes the flesh his strength and turns his heart from the LORD."

Psalm 146:2-4 "…2 I will praise the LORD all my life; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. 3 Put not your trust in princes, in mortal man, who cannot save. 4 When his spirit departs, he returns to the ground; on that very day his plans perish."

Stop looking to a leader to save a dying country and begin looking to Christ to make you holy and others repentant.

Raise Your Children Away From the Culture or You will Lose Them

When we were raising children, I attempted to teach our children to address adults as Mr. and Mrs. and their last name. Unfortunately, the ungodly culture we were in worked against me, telling the children to call them by their first name. My children went with the culture, and my authority with them was ruined. And, there were many other such things in which the culture came against me in front of my children.

If you can, do not raise your children around those who are going to undermine your teachings, the culture will win every time because children are predisposed to following the crowd, making us look like the strange ones to be avoided.

Alone with Christ a Far Better Way

Never allow others to frustrate you with pressure to attend prayer meetings.

There is no scriptural mandate for a "church prayer group." It can be a good thing, but many people who love Christ feel more comfortable alone in their closet with Him.

Pressuring others to attend a meeting may be against God's will. I can say more clearly and openly what I wish to express to God when I am alone, and I can hear from Him better without distractions.

There is no indication in Scripture that God hears us better when others are present than when we are alone. More people in the room do not have more influence over God than when one person prays alone. We are not seeking to manipulate God in our prayers, we are seeking His will and strength to carry out His will.

Often, what the group wants is not God's will; it's just their idea of what they want.

In public meetings, there are expectations and rules that God never made, causing a sense of conformity for the people in attendance, hindering our prayers.

In a public meeting, we are expected to agree with anyone praying out loud, but what if we do not agree with what we hear?

Romans 8:26 "In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how we ought to pray, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words."

Matthew 6:5-7 " 5 And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. Truly, I tell you, they already have their full reward. 6 But when you pray, go into your inner room, shut your door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. And your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7 And when you pray, do not babble on like pagans, for they think that by their many words they will be heard."

None of the following passages speaks of going to a group.

Luke 18:1 "Then Jesus told them a parable about their need to pray at all times and not lose heart:"

1 Thessalonians 5:17 "Pray without ceasing."

Colossians 4:2 "Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful,"

Daniel 6:10 "Now when Daniel learned that the document had been signed, he went into his house, where the windows of his upper room opened toward Jerusalem, and three times a day he got down on his knees, prayed, and gave thanks to his God, just as he had done before."

Isaiah 26:20 "Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut your doors behind you. Hide yourselves a little while until the wrath has passed."

There is more evidence for praying alone, spending time with God, than there is for corporate prayer.

May we allow ourselves to resist the pressures of the culture to obey God. If God tells us to attend that prayer meeting, then go, but if He is not compelling us to attend, feel free to be alone with God.

Pharisee Like People Exist Today

So many prideful "Christians" act like Pharisees, heaping on human rules God never made, thinking it makes them special and superior.

Matthew 23:4-6 "…4They tie up heavy, burdensome loads and lay them on men’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them. 5 All their deeds are done for men to see. They broaden their phylacteries and lengthen their tassels. 6They love the places of honor at banquets, the chief seats in the synagogues,"

Luke 18:9-14 "9 Now He also told this parable to some people who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and viewed others with contempt:
10 “Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.
11 The Pharisee stood and began praying this in regard to himself: ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other people: swindlers, crooked, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.
12 I fast twice a week; I pay tithes of all that I get.’
13 But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to raise his eyes toward heaven, but was beating his chest, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, the sinner!’
14 I tell you, this man went to his house justified rather than the other one; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Church gatherings are full of happy clappy people who love themselves, who would never lift a finger to bring the gospel to others because others are beneath them.

These people are more interested in being seen by others than they are in honoring Christ, learning in humility, and being useful for the Kingdom. They are modern-day Pharisees.

Romans 10:3 "Because they were ignorant of God’s righteousness and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness."

Philippians 3:8-9 "8 More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them mere rubbish, so that I may gain Christ,
9 and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith,"

May the pretenders in the church gatherings repent and become transformed by Christ so that any thought of self is removed.

Supporting the Nation is Different from Approving of all it Does

No born-again believer would want to participate in building a temple that will be doing sacrifices when Christ was our only Sacrifice. To do sacrifices in that temple is the same as denying Jesus Christ.

Israel will build a temple and do sacrifices in these end times. Believers should love the nation of Israel enough to bring the gospel and even protect its borders, but should never help build a temple that represents rejecting the sacrifice of Christ for our sin.

There are believers who foolishly think that to love Israel is to approve of everything that nation does. This is not at all what God said to do. Israel came into the land in 1948 in unbelief, and much of what they do dishonors God.

There is a remnant of believers in Israel, as there is in every country of the world. God told us to protect the nation, but He did not tell us to participate in all their rituals associated with the rejection of Christ.

Romans 11:1-36 "I ask, then, has God rejected his people? By no means! For I myself am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, a member of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not rejected his people whom he foreknew. Do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he appeals to God against Israel? “Lord, they have killed your prophets, they have demolished your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life.” But what is God's reply to him? “I have kept for myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” So too at the present time there is a remnant, chosen by grace."

Only What is Done Through the Spirit of Christ will Last

If there is any object associated with worship, then it is an idol. God said we worship in Spirit and in Truth, not by anything we do on the outside or with any object.

Two people can have the same activity exactly, and one will be led by the Holy Spirit to glorify God, and the other led by the flesh to glorify themselves.

John 4:24 " …23 But a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father is seeking such as these to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and His worshipers must worship Him in spirit and in truth."

2 Corinthians 3:17 "Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom."

We live in a time when "Christians" want to do things their own way and call it good. They think using God's Word as an add-on to their own will makes them spiritual.

Hebrews 12:28 "Therefore, since we are receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us be filled with gratitude, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe."

There is no reverence for God when there is self-will and disregard for God's commands and principles.

Philippians 3:3 "For it is we who are the circumcision, we who worship by the Spirit of God, who glory in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh,"

1 John 1:5 "And this is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you: God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all."

When we seek Christ we will not have fleshly ideas that make ourselves feel special for doing them. We will only have great joy that we did what He told us to do and added nothing of ourselves to it.

Only what Christ did through us as we obey will count on judgment day.

Praying for Help Without Repentance

This morning, a beautiful text was sent to me by a dear sister. She was sharing a story about a woman she knew who was deep into sin and how she prayed for help, but didn't leave the sin.

She was tormented until finally she was delivered when she made the decision to trust in Christ as she walked away from that which was comfortable and familiar to her. Then Christ delivered her, and her heart and life were changed forever.

My response to the story was one of sheer delight, because it was so familiar to my life. Here was my response.

"Wonderful, these words could have been written about me 50 years ago. It's even harder when we are surrounded by people who are not godly and want us to remain as we are. The real miracle and the real challenge is in surrendering so completely to Christ that it doesn't matter if you have any support from people."
"Praise God the Holy Spirit is greater than anyone around us. We can't blame anybody but ourselves, and when we finally fo come to Christ in earnestness, the beauty of our joy is so much greater than what we thought we would lose." Unquote

I think about this often when family members or old friends attempt to accuse me of my past that has been expunged from God's books.

Perhaps everyone should have a story like this that they have been delivered from while walking in victory now.

Our life is changed forever and often our friends change because our hearts have changed. We cannot walk with those who attempt to keep us down to avoid looking at themselves.

Unbelievers hate that our life is full of joy and purpose in Christ because they do not want to turn from their pleasures.

James 1:7 "…7 That man should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways."

When we hang onto sin while begging God to save us from the trouble we have caused ourselves, we cannot expect God to lift a finger to save us from the consequences. Often, it is the consequences that motivate us to seek Christ. It is God's love to allow us to wallow in what is miserable for us.

Praise God for all the trials He allows so that we will ultimately repent and become saved from hell and gain heaven.

James 1:2-8 "2 Consider it all joy, my brothers and sisters, when you encounter various trials,
3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
4 And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
6 But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
7 For that person ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord,
8 being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways."

God Has Not Forgotten Israel

Jews came into the nation in unbelief as the Bible said they would in the end times, but at the end of the tribulation, the whole nation will trust in Christ and will take the salvation message to the rest of the world.

Many Jews are coming to Christ now; the stage is being set, it won't be long now. 1948 was a milestone for believers, seeing the prophecy unfold.

Romans 11:1-2 "The Remnant of Israel
11 I ask, then, has God rejected his people? By no means! For I myself am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham,[a] a member of the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God has not rejected his people whom he foreknew. Do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he appeals to God against Israel?"

Psalm 94:14 "For the LORD will not forsake His people; He will never abandon His heritage."

1 Samuel 12:22 "Indeed, for the sake of His great name, the LORD will not abandon His people, because He was pleased to make you His own."

Isaiah 49:15-16 "“Can a woman forget her nursing child, or lack compassion for the son of her womb? Even if she could forget, I will not forget you! Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are ever before Me."

Transformed and Sealed Forever

Why those who have been transformed into a new creation by Christ will never lose their salvation and why they are loved by the Father and entrusted to the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 2:10-12 "But God has revealed it to us by the Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of man except his own spirit within him? So too, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us."

John 15:15 "15 No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, because all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you."

Luke 12:4 "I tell you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more."

Romans 8:15 "For you did not receive a spirit of slavery that returns you to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption to sonship, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”

Galatians 4:6-7 "And because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” / So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, you are also an heir through God."

Not only are we sealed with the Holy Spirit we can know His Heart and Mind.

Confession, Forgiveness and Reconciliation is Possible

For those who believe we should forgive those who are not sorry, this passage may bring clarity.

John 20:22-23 "And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you withhold forgiveness from any, it is withheld.”

Luke 17:3-4 "3Watch yourselves. If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. 4Even if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times returns to say, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”

Our relationship with God cannot be reconciled without admitting we are sinners and in need of the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Our relationship with others is not fully restored unless we admit our offenses against them.

Matthew 5:23-24 "…23 So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24leave your gift there before the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift."

1 John 4:20-21 "If anyone says, “I love God,” but hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And we have this commandment from Him: Whoever loves God must love his brother as well."

Perhaps it would be good for us to ask ourselves these questions; "Do I love my brother enough to go to him with his offense against me so that he can repent." and "Do I love my brother enough to go to him and tell him my offense so that our relationship can be reconciled."?

Forgiveness is not about making ourselves feel better, even superior to those who have offended us. Confession and forgiveness are two sides of the same coin, both must be present to reconcile a relationship.

Today in our culture I see far too many people saying things like; "Just let it go" as though it is the higher road to take, elevating themselves. Yes, there are things that are irritating but not the level of a sin. This is not what we are talking about, it is sin that causes damage to others and often continual and persistent.

There are many things we can "just let go", such as someone who took our parking space at the store, or someone who ate the last cookie. These are not necessarily sins, just oversights or innocent acts. These are not worthy of a discussion about offense.

Relationships are becoming complicated and petty over silly things because anything that was done that irritated us is being treated as though it were a personal offense.

We have two problems going on in our culture today, those who are hyper sensitive to criticism and those who will not take a look at anything to resolve irritatioins out of fear of someone being offended. So what we have is a culture that walks around on egg shells without the ability to be honest and open and little is resolved in relationships.

We are living in the 2 Timothy 3:1-5 generation.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 "But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.

Colossians 3:13 "Bear with one another and forgive any complaint you may have against someone else. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."

How did God forgive? He forgave when there was confession of wrong and a desire to reconcile. There must be love to desire reconciliation and there must be denial of self.

Confessing is the Key to Spiritual and Emotional Maturity

I feel sorry for people who have to live with those who think a believer can lose their salvation after Christ transformed them into a new creation.

It is not possible to ever admit we have a flaw or need to tell a loved one we are sorry for something we said or did when we think we never sin.

I have seen many people walking in pride at how good they think they are because they keep all the rules, rarely, if ever, apologizing to anyone.

When there is a spirit of pride that defends sinful attitudes to avoid having to confess to others their need for Spiritual growth, there will never be such growth.

James 5:15-16 "…15 And the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick. The Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man has great power to prevail."

Confessing our sins, even the smallest ones, has two purposes: the first is to reconcile a broken relationship, and the second is to cause emotional and spiritual maturity in ourselves.

No one will be reconciled to God without confession of a sinful nature with the desire to be cleansed of it. The Christian life is one of a continuation after salvation to grow in holiness.

Without confession, holiness is abated. Holiness can only grow when there is a desire to know our flaws to admit them; only then can there be consistent development of character.

1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Proverbs 28:13 "Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy."

We are not likely to confess sins and forsake them if we do not believe we sin after salvation. Those who do not confess are either not saved or they are saved and remain spiritual and emotional infants until they learn to admit their flaws.

Psalm 32:5 "I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah"

James 4:17 "So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin."

James 4:7-10 "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be wretched and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you."

False Preachers and Their False Doctrines

There are false preachers who would tell you that Christ went to hell after He died to suffer some more for our sins in hell. This is ridiculous and blasphemous.

Christ went to the paradise portion of Sheol, where the Old Testament saints went after they died. He preached the gospel to them and took them out. The Old Testament saints were looking to the Messiah, not knowing who He was, but when Christ went there, they met Him, trusted in Him, and went to heaven with Him.

Beware of those who take scripture out of context and make their own meaning to fit their own ideas. These people are devils sent by him to destroy the faith of many.

Matthew 7:15 "“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves."

1 John 4:1 "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world."

Matthew 24:24 "For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect."

Some of the lies showing up in every church gathering today are so clever that many people will defend them as though they are the truth without knowing what God said in His Word or having a short passage snatched out of its context that sounds good. They depend on traditions rather than the Holy Spirit to guide them.

Born Again or Pretender Ask God Which

For those who believe Christians become sinless after they have been transformed.

Our spirit is transformed, but we are trapped in this body of flesh that we fight against daily. Those who are not born again do not fight the flesh; they lean into it, enjoy it, and even defend their bad behavior.

I worry about the relationships

Hebrews 12:5-7 "…5 And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: “My son, do not take lightly the discipline of the Lord, and do not lose heart when He rebukes you. 6 For the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and He chastises every son He receives.” 7 Endure suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?"

1 John 3:9 "No one who has been born of God practices sin, because His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin continually, because he has been born of God."

1 John 1:9 "9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

We grow in holiness in direct proportion to how much we confess. The Holy Spirit convicts us when we have sinned, even just a bad attitude so that we will ask to be cleansed of it.

There is no Spiritual growth without confessing our flaws and weaknesses to God for cleansing. This is why we see so many believers who walk fleshly without growing emotinoally or Spiritually.

1 Corinthians 3:15 "
If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet only so as through fire."

This is also the reason it is so hard these days to judge who may be saved and who is not.

Matthew 13:24-30 "The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares
24 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field;
25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.
26 But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared.
27 So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’
28 He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’
29 But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them.
30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.”

We cannot always know who is saved and who is not but we can have questions because the behavior and words do not seem to match a heart that has been transformed by Christ. This is why it is valid and necessary to challenge people to ask God if they are saved, because the fruit is bad.

Luke 6:43-44 "No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. / For each tree is known by its own fruit. Indeed, figs are not gathered from thornbushes, nor grapes from brambles."

There is every level of believer, some brand new, some many years old in the Lord, our heart is to challenge people to seek Christ, make sure they are saved, and pray for their salvation if the fruit is bad.

Words That Reflect an Inner Heart

Sadly, the people I pray for often in my family all attend churches and believe they are saved. Their actions are decent, but their attitudes are snarky, rude and mean as though words do not matter as long as they don't break the law.

The Church is not a Building

Too many "Christians" associate the church with buildings, particular places, and mandated days to meet.

They do not understand that these modern ways were invented by man and have corrupted the church, which is the people. The traditions of men have ruined authentic fellowship.

Mark 7:13 "13 Thus you nullify the word of God by the tradition you have handed down. And you do so in many such matters.”

Colossians 2:8 "See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, which are based on human tradition and the spiritual forces of the world rather than on Christ."

1 Corinthians 14:26 "What is the outcome then, brothers and sisters? When you assemble, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. All things are to be done for edification."

God never intended us to go and sit facing forward, listening to a long sermon delivered by one man. His intention was that we speak to one another about the Lord and remember Him in His Lord's supper. Each person is contributing.

This is impossible in the modern churches because the people in the pews are expected to remain silent, and just believe whatever the person in the pulpit tells us to believe, because he has been educated by other men.

The people in church gatherings today do not understand that the Holy Spirit is the One Who teaches and leads everyone who is born again.

If we are reading the word and praying at home, we will have something to offer our brothers and sisters in the gathering. Now the modern Christian barely knows their Bibles and operates as though they believe only men educated by other men can be led by the Holy Spirit. Or worse, they don't even think in terms of the leading of the Holy Spirit.

1 Timothy 4:1-3 "Now the Spirit expressly states that in later times some will abandon the faith to follow deceitful spirits and the teachings of demons, influenced by the hypocrisy of liars, whose consciences are seared with a hot iron. They will prohibit marriage and require abstinence from certain foods that God has created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth."

It is easy to manipulate and control people when they are made to believe they have no authority to speak or wisdom to share.

All born-again believers have the Authority of Christ in them to speak the things of the Lord as they are led by the Holy Spirit. They all have the Authority to challenge one another, encourage, teach, and evaluate what others say.

Hebrews 5:11-13 "11 We have much to say about this, but it is hard to explain, because you are dull of hearing. 12 Although by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to reteach you the basic principles of God’s word. You need milk, not solid food! 13For everyone who lives on milk is still an infant, inexperienced in the message of righteousness."

I have heard many times in my life statements such as: "I have to ask my pastor.", Rarely have I heard: "I have to ask God to hear from the Holy Spirit."

I have even been told I should not speak things of the Lord because I am a woman and only men are allowed to do it. Sadly, scripture is taken out of context to justify a false teaching. Many fall into the trap of ignoring all the rest of scripture for this one idea concocted by people who have their own agenda.

When we read the Word for ourselves and are led by the Holy Spirit, we are qualified to evaluate everything and speak the truth boldly to help one another remain faithful to God's Word.

So the final takeaway is; Listen to one another, evaluate what is said according to the Bible, and speak the truth of God boldly.

The Focus of a Nation Determines the Fate

1 Samuel 8:4-9 "4 So all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah.
5 They said to him, “You are old, and your sons do not follow your ways; now appoint a king to lead[b] us, such as all the other nations have.”
6 But when they said, “Give us a king to lead us,” this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the Lord.
7 And the Lord told him: “Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king.
8 As they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you.
9 Now listen to them; but warn them solemnly and let them know what the king who will reign over them will claim as his rights.”"

Sound Familiar?!!!!!

When a nation is more focused on its secular leader making them safe and comfortable than they are on God, the nation is lost and will not be coming back.

When Sin is Comfortable

Coming Out From Among Them

Everyone likes to think they are a "good person", we have a much higher view of ourselves than is true because most do not see the perfection of God. Like Eve, mankind wants to think they can be like God without Him.

Genesis 3:4-6 "…4 “You will not surely die,” the serpent told her. 5 “For God knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” 6 When the woman saw that the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eyes, and that it was desirable for obtaining wisdom, she took the fruit and ate it. She also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate it."

The devil lied to Eve and he lies to us today. Even worse he causes others to believe lies about their family and friends to divide relationships just like he did in the garden with Eve.

Because we are living in the end times we are accustomed to "self-thinking", believing we have done nothing wrong while destroying relationships, while accepting sin and rudeness as normal.

Luke 18:7-9 "…7 Will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry out to Him day and night? Will He continue to defer their help? 8 I tell you, He will promptly carry out justice on their behalf. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on earth?” 9 To some who trusted in their own righteousness and viewed others with contempt, He also told this parable:"

Where faith in God is missing, so also is love, because God is love.
When self is exalted it is not possible to love anyone else."

It is a challenge in our day to love people inspite of the rudeness and crassness of the world around us. The more time we spend in the world the more we become like it. This is why God commands us to speak the truths of God to the unsaved when directed by the Holy Spirit, while at the same time maintaining our distance in terms of our constant companions.

2 Corinthians 6:17 "17 Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate,” says the Lord.
“And do not touch what is unclean;
And I will welcome you."

We must live in the world, interact with the world but we do not have to become one of those who love the world and its' ways. There is great joy in relationships that are walking the same path with the same resolve to follow Christ.

James 5:7-8 "Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer awaits the precious fruit of the soil—how patient he is for the fall and spring rains. You, too, be patient and strengthen your hearts, because the Lord’s coming is near."

"The World is Growing Gloriously Dark"

Sometimes we feel like we are speaking more about the warnings in these end days than we are about the joys of living in this world.

The truth is the world is becoming darker and the people are more full of anger and disrespect. We want to share the solution, who is Jesus Christ, so that those who are living in darkness, thinking it is normal and reasonable, will realize how blinded they are and what true salvation rescues them from, a life of sin and guilt.

Revelation 3:17 "Because you say, “I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have no need of anything,” and you do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked,"

Those who live in discouragement and hyper vigilance to proclaim their own greatness do not know they are full of strife, living in a state of hopelessness. If they can distract themselves from the sadness within, they count themselves as happy, but there is no lasting joy.

John 16:33 33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

James 1:2-4 Trials and Temptations
"2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."

Perhaps this is the reason so many people pursue pleasure and adventure, to distract them from the chaos that dwells within them. Impressing others becomes necessary to make oneself feel whole and validated.

The born-again believer who lives for Christ does not have this emptiness inside. We glory in God's provision without need of adventures and grandiose accomplishments to spectacular displays.

I worry about those who have lived their whole lives playing and cannot seem to enjoy quiet times. Perhaps in their old age, they will feel a deep sense of loss when they can no longer run to and fro, building adventures to boast about to others.

Life is not full because of the adventures we create but because of the wonderful lessons God has for us during all the experiences of life.

The most content people in life are those who enjoy just a normal, quiet life of tranquility, enjoying the small things that bring great peace while trusting in Christ.

Romans 5:3-5 "Not only that, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us."

1 Peter 1:6-7 "In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in various trials so that the proven character of your faith—more precious than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ."

Matthew 5:11-12 "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets before you."

Those of us who have trusted Christ have an amazing inheritance coming when we leave this world that it overwhelms anything we go through on this earth.

Hallelujah!
