"If we learn the tactics of the narcissists we will know the tactics of the devil. The narcissist is a pawn in the hands of the devil, helpless to be anything but what the evil one causes them to be. His tactics always use the greed and arrogance of the human heart as he manipulates them into monstrous attitudes and actions." Gwendolyn Wehage: "Narcissism: Second Timothy Three is Here." Page 135
Ephesians 6:11-12 "11 Put on the full armor of God so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
13 Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm."
Does this passage from my book remind you of anything?
"Once again, if the devil can isolate one person from another, there is no chance of spiritual or emotional progress, as long as they remain in this detached seclusion. "

Ephesians 6:12-13
"12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm."
Speaking of wicked men:
"The devil is behind everything evil that is happening right now in the government, in families, in schools and every other organization he can get his claws into. He has willing partners who have heard the whispers of his voice in their unprotected minds and have done his bidding without rational thinking of their own." Gwendolyn Wehage "Narcissism: Second Timothy Three is Here" Page 125
The devil whispers in the minds of those who have no defenses against Him. As born again believers we do have a protection against the devil that is Jesus Christ Who live sin us.
James 4:6-8 "6 But He gives us more grace. This is why it says: “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” 7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.…"
Amen, Amen!!! A dear friend brought up the subject in the chat today that the time is so very close to when Christ will come for His church.
I am convinced that we will be having another lockdown as before only more severe, but this time it will create in people a greater dependence on the government.
When people are fearful they are more compliant and ready to latch onto anyone who pretends to save them.
Once the people become used to and have accepted the government as their parent they will be ready to receive the antichrist as their ultimate parent. They will fawn all over him, missing all the blatant clues that he is not on their side as he claims.
It won't matter that he is doing all kinds of evil things because he will be doing false miracles that impress the undiscerning. I believe many people who say they are Christians will be in this number who follow the antichrist.
Matthew 7:21-23 "21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.
22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’
23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’"
We are seeing many famous and renowned preachers falling into apostasy, even those we could not have believed would do such a thing. They have preached for many years very good things but at the end of their lives, they are supporting wicked things, praising wicked people, and preaching the opposite of what they preached before.
I am convinced that the more popular and well known a preacher becomes the less they hear from God. Their minds become clouded by the popularity even fearful they might lose their popularity. They are falling, one by one almost daily now.
And, sadly these fallen ones retain their elevated status among those who treated them as though they were flawless, like gods that could do no wrong. No one would question anything they do or say anymore, even becoming angry at anyone who dared to expose the things they say and do.
We know false "Christians" will act this way toward the antichrist because they already do when it comes to their favored preacher.
When a preacher cannot be questioned or corrected they have lost their ability to be objective according to the Word of God. They surround themselves with flying monkeys who do their bidding and protect their reputation no matter how badly they have strayed from the truth.
If anyone holds a person in such high regard that there is anger when their favorite preacher is corrected, then there is the worship of that person, they have an idol.
1 John 5:21
"Little children, keep yourselves from idols."
"Since the need to be superior to others takes center stage in the narcissistic mind, they must change the details of situations to fit with their personal prejudice against their target." Gwendolyn Wehage; "Narcissism: Second Timothy Three is Here" Page 124
Have you wondered why the chaos in the world is escalating? Have you wondered why so many adult children are treating their parents disrespectfully and with contempt?
There is an answer; we are living in the end times of apostasy. Even many adult children who attend churches every week are wicked toward their parents.
2 Timothy 3:1-5 "3 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.
2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good,
4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 holding to a form of [b]godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these."
As we live through these end times of horrendous disrespect and contempt we must remember that it is what God said would happen. Once you have gotten over the shock of how you are being treated as aging parents, you will see that it is not something isolated only to us. Many are experiencing this deep rebellion against God on the part of their children.
Even those raised in very good homes are being influenced by devils to see things in ways that are not the truth. They reject the Bible, they reject instruction from it while claiming to be a "Bible believer." What the narcissists want to believe about themselves and what they really are on the inside, is deeply disconnected from reality.
2 Timothy 4:2-4 "…2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and encourage with every form of patient instruction. 3 For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears, they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. 4 So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.…"
The adult children today refuse to received instruction, correction, or rebuke from anyone. Their desire to be special and superior removes all sense that they need to learn to grow in holiness.
We are commanded by God to continue to speak His words and instruct, but it will not be received. This does not mean we completely stop doing it. Never allow a narcissist, especially one who claims to be a Christian to intimidate you into silence. You may not correct the rebellious ones anymore but you cannot cause them to keep you from speaking to others. This is the devil's goal to cause such fear of speaking that we would remain silent with those who have not rejected the truth.
Jeremiah 7:26-28 "…26 Yet they would not listen to Me or incline their ear, but they stiffened their necks and did more evil than their fathers. 27 When you tell them all these things, they will not listen to you. When you call to them, they will not answer. 28 Therefore you must say to them, ‘This is the nation that would not listen to the voice of the LORD their God and would not receive correction. Truth has perished; it has disappeared from their lips."
The key to all of this is to hear from the Holy Spirit. If the Holy Spirit is moving in you to speak something do not reason what the response might be, it is irrelevant. Just obey God and leave the response to God.
Romans 1:18-32
God's Wrath on Unrighteousness
"18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.
19 For what can be known about God is plain to them because God has shown it to them.
20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
21 For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools,
23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.
24 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, 25 because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen."
Romans 1:29-32 "29 They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips,
30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents,
31 foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless.
32 Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them."
God commanded that a couple not divorce but if they do they are to remain single until they can be reconciled. Christ clearly stated that to remarry after a divorce is to be committing an ongoing state of adultery.
It is a command of God to be reconciled if possible. There is a video called "Before the Wrath" that shows the Jewish wedding and how it relates to the born again believer and Christ's relationship.
There is no severing of the marriage relationships until death. No man can undo what God did.
And there is no severing of the relationship of a believer and Christ after they have been made into a new creation, old things have passed away and all things have become new. Our spirit, when born again, is replaced with the Holy Spirit. God intended for the marriage covenant to be a picture of the relationship between Christ and His church.
People become confused because of what they see happening between couples but if they looked at scripture there is no confusion. They also become confused because they are looking at friends and family and what they want rather than to Christ. Marrying a divorced person is adultery and remains adultery until they confess that sin and separate.
Ephesians 1:13-14
"13 In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory."
God seals the marriage relationship when the couple promises to remain with one another. That promise creates a spiritual bond by God, even if the couple is not born again. Otherwise, the divorce and remarriage of unbelievers would not be called sin.
All unbelievers are in their sin and on their way to hell because of that sin. It is only when they trust in Christ that they will be saved from hell and given the Holy Spirit to be able to walk in righteousness. Then the Holy Spirit will continue to sanctify the new believer with lessons, promptings, and understandings that they never had before they were born again.
The sad thing is that so many people are trusting in their own minds to figure things out instead of in Christ and His Holy Word. They even use the scriptures to interpret them according to their own human thinking rather than what God actually said, this is far too common.
2 Timothy 4:3-4
"3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, 4 and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths."
Those who do not want to obey God call obedience legalism. For those who think everything is legalism, here is the definition God has given to me and it is clear!!!
Legalism is requiring rules for ourselves and others that God never commanded.
Obedience is seeking God's Word because we desire to please Him. If you do not want to seek God then you are rebellious and possibly not born again.
