Next time someone says to you that we should say things in a way that unbelievers will receive it, just quote God's Word!
Let the Holy Spirit speak through you, then you will not have to worry about how you say it.
Luke 6:26-28
26 Woe to you when all men speak well of you, for their fathers used to treat the false prophets in the same way."
27 “But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who [b]mistreat you.
When we do good to non-believers who are in rebellion they will interpret your good as bad because that's how they wish to see you.
If they can make you the bad guy then they can ignore your warnings about these end times and the wrath of God to come. They can ignore any attempts to cause them to think about their life and their actions.
Luke 3:6-8 "…6 And all humanity will see God’s salvation.’” 7 Then John said to the crowds coming out to be baptized by him, “You brood of vipers, who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? 8 Therefore produce fruit worthy of repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham.…"
Those who hate correction or rebuke will call all your good deeds bad, ignore them and keep going the way God told you to go, they don't have to understand it. Do not allow any man to discourage you from your calling!
Isaiah 5:20 " Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!"
