Being angry at someone and refusing to tell them why you are angry proves you like the anger. Discussion can resolve things, hiding only destroys relationships.
Matthew 5:23-24
"Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift."
If you have approached someone who has been treating you disrespectfully and they reject your plea to be sorry and reconciled then you know the ungodly heart of the one who loves to feel superior through their victim mentality.
If someone treats someone disrespectfully for what they have heard about them that they have not seen for themselves, then they are foolish.
Judging others based on gossip is a sin.
Leviticus 19:17
"You must not harbor hatred against your brother in your heart. Directly rebuke your neighbor, so that you will not incur guilt on account of him."
Proverbs 25:9
"Argue your case with your neighbor without betraying another's confidence,"
Luke 17:3
"Watch yourselves. If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him."
Psalm 141:5
"Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities."
