The First Vow Stands

The first vow stands, remarriage is adultery. The second vow doesn't supercede the first. How can you make a vow to two people to do the same thing......FORSAKE all OTHERS till death do you part?
~Cheryl Daniel.

The "V" rule!!!

O.K. here's the rule; I won't tell you to get vaccinated and you won't tell me not to get vaccinated. If we all follow the rule then we can be loving and kind to one another.
It might be good to avoid those who are mean and rude who want to intimidate you into doing what they do, no matter what side they take.
Brethren, please stop clicking up on one side or the other and focus on loving one another.
Christ never commanded us to vaccinate or not vaccinate, but He did command us to love one another. It is the second commandment after loving Him first.
What is love:
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
"Love is patient and kind;
love does not envy or boast;
it is not arrogant or rude.
It does not insist on its own way;
it is not irritable or resentful;
it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.
Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.
Love always takes precedence when the mandate or command in the Bible is not clear.
If everyone would stop leaning on their own understanding or on the opinions of others we can live in peace with one another.
Colossians 3:14
"And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony."
Proverbs 3:5-6 "5Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; 6in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."
God never said this; "look all over the internet for experts that will say what you want to believe because of your particular mindset."
The deception in the world today is so massive and enticing it has taken both sides of any issue to insanity.
If you love having those worry burdens on yourself over the food, the vaccine, and everything else. Go right ahead but stop beating me over the head with all of it.
Worry, worry, worry about everything all the time brings wonderful indulgent chaos and fighting, are these things really that important, or do they just give some people the sense that they are superior to others for their "news-hound" knowledge? Just asking!
1 Corinthians 8:1-2 "1 Now about food sacrificed to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up. 2 The one who thinks he knows something does not yet know as he ought to know.…"
I am a big fan of allowing people to believe what they want without being battered and bludgeoned for not choosing the beliefs of others on things that God does not speak about.
Satan just loves how many believers are acting superior to unbelievers about a vaccine. Those who do this are ruining their Christian witness. If believers would be as bold about the salvation of Christ through faith in Him as they are about this vaccine, perhaps someone will hear the gospel and become born again.
I am deeply concerned about the level of angst I see almost every day over something that has no way to save anyone from their sins or from hell.
Hebrews 7:24-26
"24 Jesus, on the other hand, because He continues forever, holds His priesthood permanently. 25 Therefore He is also able to save forever those who come to God through Him since He always lives to make intercession for them.
26 For it was fitting for us to have such a high priest, holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens;"

If You Didn't See it For Yourself Don't Repeat it as Fact!

If anyone is depending on the internet for the information you might as well read the tabloid newspapers at the checkout stand that have been notorious for disinformation and lies from soup to nuts.
The internet is a breeding ground for people who love to pretend every kind of lie that is out there. They can make things look so real that many are being fooled.
Back in the day when the internet first came out many Christians knew the internet had many false news stories and they avoided it. Now we have more Christians believing the lies than those who do not. It is a fulfillment of the prophecy that says in the last days the deception will be so intense that even the believers will be fooled, we are their folks.
If you want to believe only the truth do not look up articles or videos to watch that contain "sensationalist" type news. There are more lies than truth on the internet today and that includes liberals as well as conservatives and everything else in between.
Matthew 24:24 "
For there shall arise false christs and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."
Don't look for the "experts", for the "Christian" or the "political" news they are ALL tainted and skewed according to their desired bent. You will be better off leaving them alone.
Just some advice because of all the lies I know about. If you cannot prove the story yourself by your own experience then dismiss it and move on to something edifying...... perhaps the Bible and prayer!!!!

Context is Everything!!!

Scripture used out of its context causes false beliefs, insist on context when someone quotes God.

Prove it with Scripture

If someone is claiming we should do, say or believe something make sure they prove it with Scripture in context.

Trusting in the Lord or in this World

Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths."

Can you imagine what it is like to so completely trust in Christ that we are unaffected by anything that we don't understand or that is very difficult?

This is how I want to live. I want to be able to have joy in my heart and peace on my face no matter what comes at me. This is my prayer continually.

How can we be a witness of God's goodness when we are crabby all the time?

Many people are continually agitated at what is going on in the world. If they asked God to change their heart they would have a completely different perspective about life in general.

How could we walk around angry and frustrated knowing the Lord is going to take care of all of it. He is bigger than anything we see around us. He is bigger than our problems. And, most of all, He has a purpose in all things for the born-again believer. Nothing happens to us without a reason, training for our future in Spiritual growth and for the Millennium when we will rule with Him.

When we let go of our rights in the world, our desires, and our hopes and hang onto Christ we do not worry, nor do we fight with others about the things of this world. In fact, our hopes and desires change dramatically into something much grander than just this earth.

This presumes that we are seeking Christ, it is only He Who can do this in our hearts and only if we want Him to do it.

I see no scriptures in the Bible that say; "look all around you and become irritated and angry about all that is happening, making sure you do something to keep yourself safe in this world and be sure to frighten others with it."

Here's what God does say:

Matthew 6:33-34 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today has enough trouble of its own."

James 1:2-7 "2 Consider it all joy, my brothers and sisters, when you encounter various trials,
3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
4 And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
6 But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
7 For that person ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord,
8 being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways."

Hallelujah, which will we choose to share with others, the troubles of the world around us that man cannot solve, or the joy of Christ's salvation that lasts for eternity?
