Anger is based on Fear

When someone is angry and hurt it has more to do with fear than anything else.
When we do not have a spirit of fear we are not offended or angered easily. We know God sees it all, and knows the deepest truths about it so we fear nothing.
Psalm 46:1-3
"God, the Refuge of His People.
For the music director. A Psalm of the sons of Korah, [a]set to Alamoth. A Song.
46 God is our refuge and strength,
A [b]very ready help in [c]trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth shakes
And the mountains slip into the heart of the [d]sea;
3 Though its waters roar and foam,
Though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. Selah"
Born-again believers who follow Christ are fearless. We need not be angry over any challenge because we see all challenges as opportunities to learn and grow stronger.
Since we are not concerned about what others think of us we are free to express ourselves and without anger when they express themselves.
Those who are fearful often rage at the smallest challenge. They cogitate continually on their "win or defeat" as they see it. For the born-again believer, every circumstance is a win because of the lesson in it.
If the "feeling" of fear comes over us we endure because we are anchored in the Rock of our Salvation, Jesus Christ. He goes through with us no matter what it is.
Feelings come and go, we cannot stop them, but we can control them while pressing on toward the goal.
Proverbs 3:5-6
"5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight."
"Feelings" are what we have when we have our "own understanding", mostly and almost always based on emotions. In other words we cannot trust ourselves because our emotions get in the way so we must go with truth.

God's Wisdom is Better than the World's Wisdom

Jesus Christ did not save born-again believers to be able to become their genie in a bottle affording them all their desires.
Christ came to save sinners to allow them to love Him and others. He saved us from our natural selves to glorify Him in all we do.
When we love Christ and desire His will we are given far more than the blessings of this world, we are given wisdom that will endure for eternity and a life in paradise with Him where we will understand why worshiping Him and obeying His principles give us the best life anyone could have.
Our miseries on this earth are small compared to what we learn from them and our reward in heaven.
Romans 8:18
"18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us."
We cannot have great wisdom without boot camp. We cannot become strong without trials to show us things we would not otherwise understand.
Strength in this life comes from Christ in us as we obey His principles and believe His promises. If we do not obey and are unsure about His promises then we cannot expect to gain wisdom and sturdiness to remain faithful to Him in a world that presses on all sides to win us to its ways. We can resist because our Spiritual muscles have become like iron.
When we challenge one another to greater holiness we sharpen that iron, forcing us to face the truth about ourselves while willing to submit to Christ.
Proverbs 27:17
"17 As iron sharpens iron,
So one person sharpens another."
It is only a worldly person who is more concerned about the feelings of others than they are about the Spiritual and emotional growth that leads to greater blessing.
This world has nothing to offer the born-again believer in terms of wisdom, just the opposite, everything the world does works against the wisdom of God. What the world calls wisdom is foolishness to God.
1 Corinthians 3:18-20 "18 Let no one deceive himself. If any of you thinks he is wise in this age, he should become a fool, so that he may become wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness.” 20 And again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.”…"

We are Allowed Our Own Opinions!

It is amazing how so many people think that we are not allowed to have opinions about things if they like to do those things.
There is a mentality that is very strange now, that is we become under attack when we voice our own opinions about something if someone else likes what we dislike. They say we are judging others by saying we personally don't like something.
Its really quite strange that our opinions are being "judged" as bad if they do not fit with the opinions of others.
In fact, we are called names like; "judgemental", and even rude when we express our own opinions about something the world loves.
In my last post, I was told I was judgemental because I didn't like those silly ripped jeans. it is true, I have judged those jeans.
No one will be able to make me like them or silence me about them simply by calling me names and accusing me of things. I do have a right to my own opinion about them.
I understand that this tactic of shaming someone for their opinion has shut down many discussions and silenced wise people, the reason our culture has reached the downward slide we are have been in for the past 80 years.
I also noticed that those who chastised me for having an opinion were those who loved those jeans. I didn't attack their character for liking them, I simply said I was weary of seeing women in them. I get to have that, its my right and my opinion.
It always amazes me when someone is angry over a personal opinion, perhaps they need so desperately to be validated in what they do they cannot just ignore an opinion, they must make the one with the opinion seem bad, wrong or mean for having their own opinion.
Notice these same people afford themselves the luxury of having the opposite opinion, seems one sided and narcissistic to me. Just saying!
When our culture becomes so hyper-sensitive to criticism it cannot even hear another person express their opinion freely if it differs from theirs, then we know we are living in a narcissistic culture.
By the way I was blessed by those who affirmed my opinion because they had the same view. I like to write things sometimes that others can relate to but are a little apprehensive to bring it up themselves. It is nice to agree with others and to have others agree with us. So thank you all for your comments.
James 1:5
"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him."
James 3:17
"But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere."

We Think Entirely Different From the Culture Around Us

Do not be surprised when family and their friends don't understand you, it is to be expected. Believers think very differently from the world, even the opposite.
We process things in light of God's Word not in what the culture likes. We are not in bondage to the opinions of the culture as are the unbelievers.
1 Corinthians 2:14 "But a natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned."
Get used to the idea that we will never fit into the world around us but we can be innocent in our ways and actions toward them. Even when they are raging at us we can remain calm, unaffected and unmoved by those who hate us.
What an incredible freedom we have to be who we are in Christ no matter what the enemy throws at us.
1 Corinthians 15:57-58 "…57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! 58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast and immovable. Always excel in the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."
Everything that happens to the believers has a purpose, nothing is wasted and nothing goes unnoticed by God.
Proverbs 21:21
"He who pursues righteousness and loving devotion finds life, righteousness, and honor."
1 Corinthians 16:10
"If Timothy comes, see to it that he has nothing to fear while he is with you, for he is doing the work of the Lord, just as I am."
Galatians 6:9
"Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
2 Peter 3:14
"Therefore, beloved, as you anticipate these things, make every effort to be found at peace--spotless and blameless in His sight."

When Christ Changes Us

When Christ changes us after trusting in Him, He makes us completely different from what we were before. No child of God keeps on living a lifestyle of sin when they have been changed by Christ. They hate what God hates, sin, and love what He loves, the righteousness of Christ.
Those who think they can still enjoy sin and have Jesus too, have not been born again. Christ changes all those who want to be changed by Him. Those who only want to be safe and happy but don't want Him will not be changed by Christ. These people are attempting to come into heaven through the wrong door of their own attempts at goodness.
1 John 3:6
"6 No one who remains in Him sins continually; no one who sins continually has seen Him or [a]knows Him."
Those who fight against correction from the Bible do not know God.
Matthew 7:15-20
You Will Know Them by Their Fruits
15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
Galatians 5:22-23
"22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."
1 John 3:8-10 "…8 The one who practices sin is of the devil because the devil has been sinning from the very start. This is why the Son of God was revealed, to destroy the works of the devil. 9 Anyone born of God refuses to practice sin, because God’s seed abides in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. 10 By this the children of God are distinguished from the children of the devil: Anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is anyone who does not love his brother."
Pretenders are those in the church who attend the services, do all the things expected of them to appear spiritual but have not trusted in Christ. They love the idea of a church gathering it makes them feel safe and secure, but it has no saving grace.
Matthew 7:17-19- "17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire."
May each person reading this evaluate themselves to see if they are a pretender of a born-again believer in Christ.

When the People Gave Up Their Faith

During the COVID shutdown people didn't know how to worship at home, they were forced out of the buildings and didn't know what to do with themselves.
When they became used to not attending and could go back many did not. I believe it was a test that those who loved God could worship without that building and those crowds, they could continue in Spiritual ways without all the trappings of modern Christianity but those who were superficial dropped their faith when they could no longer go to a building.
The one-man-paid-pastor system made the people feel like they needed that "pastor" as the mediator between them and God, they depended on him instead of the Holy Spirit.
When our spirituality is based on tradition, organized religion and men, we will not seek the Holy Spirit. The rituals of religion will take priority over the Bible and the Holy Spirit.
John 16:13 “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come” 14 He will glorify Me by taking from what is Mine and disclosing it to you.
John 14:17
"the Spirit of truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you do know Him, for He abides with you and will be in you."
John 14:26
"But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have told you."
1 Timothy 4:1
"Now the Spirit expressly states that in later times some will abandon the faith to follow deceitful spirits and the teachings of demons,"
If a believer depends on a man more than the Holy Spirit then they have an idol!
