Loving Christ and One Another

Unbelievers who are jealous of our freedom in Christ will work to disconnect us from other believers so they can more fully influence us, or at least in their own minds.
The fear of God's truth is so enormous in the minds of those who love themselves more than God that they labor to isolate us from others who love God and punish us while in their mob so that we fear rejection by the ungodly.
Mocking is a favored tactic of the unbeliever who is jealous of our joy and peace because of Christ.
Galatians 4:16-17 "…16 Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth? 17 Those people are zealous for you, but not in a good way. Instead, they want to isolate you from us, so that you may be zealous for them."
This is why the Lord has led me to spend time with unbelievers rarely and never in groups of them. Groupthink is powerful when in the company of unbelievers. They feed off of one another unable to think separately from the others in the room.
I see the value of spending time with unbelievers only individually so that there is no support for them to argue and fight against the truth.
Most people do not have the courage to fight and argue unless they know they have support from others.
It is impossible to have a rational, reasonable, and enjoyable conversation about the things of God while in a crowd of people who do not love God.
1 Corinthians 2:13-15 "…13 And this is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom, but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. 14 The natural man does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God. For they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 The spiritual man judges all things, but he himself is not subject to anyone’s judgment.…"
1 John 4:7-9 "7 Beloved, let us love one another, because love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 This is how God’s love was revealed among us: God sent His one and only Son into the world so that we might live through Him.…"
Our goal is never to be accepted by unbelievers, it is to bring them the truth about Christ and move on when they make the choice to reject our message.
Remaining with those who have "a form of religion" but deny Christ in their lifestyle is to count them as more important than Christ. We cannot love people more than we love Christ, to do so is to show that we have not desired a relationship with our Savior yet, we are still hanging onto this world.
Psalm 1:3-5 "…3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water, yielding its fruit in season, whose leaf does not wither, and who prospers in all he does. 4 Not so the wicked! For they are like chaff driven off by the wind. 5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous."
John 3:30-35
30 He must increase, but I must [b]decrease.
31 “He who comes from above is above all; the one who is only from the earth is of the earth and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.
32 What He has seen and heard, of this He testifies; and no one accepts His testimony.
33 The one who has accepted His testimony has certified that God is true.
34 For He whom God sent speaks the words of God; for He does not give the Spirit sparingly.
35 The Father loves the Son and has entrusted all things to His hand."
Because we love Christ we love those who love Him. Those who do not love us do not love Christ.
1 John 2:10
"Whoever loves his brother remains in the light, and there is no cause of stumbling in him."
1 John 5:2
"By this we know that we love the children of God: when we love God and keep His commandments."
Romans 12:9-11 "9 Love must be sincere. Detest what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Outdo yourselves in honoring one another. 11 Do not let your zeal subside; keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.…"
We know that there is no love in those who poke and prod at those who speak boldly for the truth of God's Word. Those who love God love to hear about Him and His principles.
1 Thessalonians 4:9
"Now about brotherly love, you do not need anyone to write to you, because you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another."
Hallelujah!!!

Understanding God!

We are the Temple of the Holy Spirit, whoever is born of Christ

Born again believers do not worship in a temple built by men, we are the temple of the Holy Spirit and we can worship any time, in any place and with anyone of our siblings in the Lord. We have no special day or special place and no rituals except as given by Christ, the Lord's supper. Just us and the Lord.
Romans 14:4-6 "…4 Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand. 5 One person regards a certain day above the others, while someone else considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. 6 He who observes a special day does so to the Lord; he who eats does so to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God.…"

Remaining Faithful to Mindfulness of Christ

Here is something I shared with a friend today that I sense we should all pray about.
The problem with knowing all this "information on the internet that doesn't really pertain to us is that so many of the videos on the internet are very well done fakes and we don't know which are true and which are not.
I have enough to think about without knowing all kinds of things that I don't even know is true or that I am not called to do anything about. Just knowing to know is not productive for me.
Just knowing to know is gnosticism, in which knowledge for its own sake is elevated to a high status but really has not value in our daily lives as we follow Christ.
If I seem disinterested in the "news" its because my focus is on the things God has called me to do and encouraging the believers to focus on Christ. The more we focus on Him and His principles the more we will discern truth from error about His word.
Philippians 1:20-21 "20 I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have complete boldness so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. 21 For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. "
Galatians 2:20
"I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me."
The world is full of evil now, if we chased after every sinful and evil thing to know about it would disintegrate any faith and thoughts of serving Christ. At the very least it will dilute and minimize our faith walk.
Romans 8:35-39
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or "distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?"
Romans 12:21
"Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."
And I would say; Do not allow thoughts and knowledge of evil to overcome our ponderings and meditations.
Ephesians 5:26
"26 so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,"
It is impossible to cleanse our minds when we are filling them full of the world's muck continually. It is the cleansing of our minds with Gods Word and His principles that places us in the right attitude toward Christ and our purpose on this earth.
I am not here to save governments, I am here to share the gospel with the unsaved and to encourage the believers so that their faith grows.
Ruminating on all the muck in the world diminishes faith, it never builds faith in anyone.
Romans 10:17
"Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God"
Isaiah 41:10
"Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God".
Hallelujah!

God will never Leave Me nor Forsake Me, His Son Lives in Me

Good afternoon brothers and sisters. In the coming weeks, I will be having shoulder replacement surgery. I would very much appreciate your prayers for this procedure.
God has been amazing over the years providing me with good doctors for various physical problems and I am confident that He will take care of me one more time.
Isaiah 46:4 "4 Even to your old age, I will be the same, and I will bear you up when you turn gray. I have made you, and I will carry you; I will sustain you and deliver you."
Psalm 68:19
"Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, the God of our salvation. Selah"
Philippians 4:19-20 "19 And my God will supply all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. 20 To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.…"

Christ is All We Need

Co-Dependency is not of God!

When we have Christ we are not co-dependent with anyone else. We depend on Christ so much that we are not lonely when we are without people.
We love people as God commanded and we especially enjoy those who love Christ as we do, but God always comes first. Our affection for God outweighs any relationship we have with people. Our connection to people will always be because of Christ.
John 13:35 "…34 A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you also must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are My disciples if you love one another.”
1 John 4:20
"If anyone says, "I love God," but hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen."
