Testing Relationships to Remain Faithful to Christ

When someone shows you who they are through their responses, believe them. The clues will pile up through their relations.
There have been many times when I saw a response from someone that was very ungodly but they think they were right.
When you know the signs of an ungodly person who acts as though they wee never born again, ask God what you are seeing before you become involved with them as a close friend. There are many fakers in the world today.
These people have two different personas, the loving kind one they show to those they wish to impress and the one they show to the target of their hatred.
It is best to recognize pretenders early on in the relationship to avoid the mess they bring when they are controlled by the devil to diminish or ruin your walk with Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:33 " Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.”
There are two ways the evil company derail our walk with Christ, the first is they will attempt to control you through many covert means causing you to respond badly to their nonsense. The second way is to gossip against you to cause others to treat you the same way they are treating you.
The devil knows the more pressure that comes to bear on us in negative and ungodly ways the more likely we are to turn our focus to the problem people than to Christ.
The devil will use these self-decieved people attempting to convince us we are the problem. No matter how kind and loving we are the worse they become hoping, at some point we will finally give up our love of Christ and respond badly, this gives them an excuse to believe we were the problem all along.
This is why God said; "bless those who curse us", it does not mean that we rush to be sloppy and friendly to someone who is mean and rude. It does mean that we do not respond the way they hoped we should with rudeness. And, we "avoid such people" when we see what they are, that is minions of the devil to bring destruction to our souls.
God told us what it would be like in these end times in 2 Timothy 3. In verse 5 God tells us clearly to stay away from those who cause trouble, even more so those who are troublemakers and call themselves Christians.
Every contact with these people will be seen as an opportunity to bring more poisonous venum to your mind. Their goal is to cause an emotional break down so they can call you insane. When the truth is they are insane and cannot exist without harming or ruining another human being.
There is no safe way to speak with a person so full of obsession with dominance and hatred.
Narcissists use people and love things and status, they do not love people. If they are being friendly or seemingly kind they want something from you. If you do not give them what they require of you they will treat you disrespectfully as well as attempt to turn others against you.
Narcissists are never sorry for their actions, they only justify them. The only thing and the best thing we can do is avoid them as we pray for God to show them. Any attempt to show them what they have done and what they do on a regular basis you will be met with rage or tears depending on whether we are dealing with an overt or covert narcissist. Overts rage and coverts cry when confronted with their hatred.
2 Timothy 3:1-5 Is a description of the end times church gatherings.
"But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.
2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, slanderers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good,
4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 holding to a form of godliness although they have denied its power; avoid such people as these."
Notice the phrase; "avoid such people as these."
1 Timothy 4:1
"Now the Spirit expressly states that in later times some will abandon the faith to follow deceitful spirits and the teachings of demons,"
2 Timothy 4:3
"For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires."
Jude 1:18
"when they said to you, "In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow after their own ungodly desires."
When we disengage with the narcissist who makes trouble at every visit we find our joy returning in full measure. We have to stop thinking that remaining in a spiritually and emotionally abusive relationship will be an example to them and it will help them change. Just the opposite is true, we enable those who are mean and rude by remaining with them.
God said; "bad company corrupts good character." He also said "do not keep company with an angry man."
1 Corinthians 5:11-12 " 11 But now I am writing you not to associate with anyone who claims to be a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a verbal abuser, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat. 12 What business of mine is it to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?…"
It is important that we keep our inner circle free from haters who love to dominate and harm others especially if they claim to be Christians.
2 Thessalonians 3:6
"Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep away from any brother who leads an undisciplined life that is not in keeping with the tradition you received from us."
Those who regularly treat others with contempt and disrespect are living disobediently and must be avoided. It is true that we become like those we spend the most time with, it is vitally important that we spend our time with those who walk in love according to the fruit of the Spirit.
Galatians 5:22-23 " 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.…"
This fruit is not works or actions, it is the very character qualities of Christ that are a part of the very being of the one who possesses them because they are indwelt by the Holy Spirit.
Many people who attend church gatherings do not have this fruit and we can sense something is off because they have never been born again.
Matthew 7:21-23 "21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’"
In these last days we will encounter the mentality of Matthew 7 and 2 Timothy 3 as we move toward the rapture. We are watching life just like those days of Lot and Noah, in which no one will be corrected and most people have a pretense of religion but are not changed by Christ.
This is not meant to discourage but to encourage us that we are watching prophesy play out before our very eyes and it means that our hope of leaving this sin-sick and rebellious world is very soon.
Hallelujah!!!!

Our Heart Attitude Comes Out in Our Actions

The world focuses on words not actions. God focuses on actions brought on by thought life. How we think drives what we do.

Trusting Christ in the Midst of this Life

There are many things going on behind the scenes that we cannot see or prove orchestrated by the devil to bring this country down. I do not dwell on the possibilities because I can't vet them, so I keep my eyes on Christ and look for my blessed hope in the rapture when Christ comes for His church.
As believers in and followers of Christ we are to keep our focus on our home going. In doing this we will not waste time trying to save a nation but we will be invested in speaking the truth of the gospel to the very few who are left who want to hear.
We are living in times just like those of Noah in which it will be rare to find anyone who wants to hear, except in the middle east where God is working without missionaries.
Even the missionaries as a whole have been spreading a false gospel so Christ is coming personally to many in the Middle East where He is beginning to focus His attention on Israel and the Arabs who are becoming open to the gospel.
America is done, the people have bought into many false doctrines and rabidly defend them as though they came from God. They will not budge when they hear the truth and they invest in poking at and demeaning believers who are truth tellers.
Those who will be hated the most in our country are those who point out the false doctrine and live according to the Biblical principles to please Christ Who lives in them.
Romans 8:10—“Christ is in you”
“But if Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, the spirit is life because of righteousness."
”2 Corinthians 4:6-7 "6 For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ."
7 But we have this treasure in earthen containers so that the extraordinary greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves;"
Galatians 2:20
"20 I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me."
If you desire to obey the Scriptures as God gave them to us, you will be hated by many "Christians" who love their false doctrine and humanistic thinking.
Most who say they are Christians do not know what it is to be led by the Holy Spirit. They claim many things God never said, follow the world instead of the mandates in God's Word and mocking and demeaning those who want to live fully for Christ.
Matthew 10:21-22 "…21 Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will rise against their parents and have them put to death. 22 You will be hated by everyone because of My name, but the one who perseveres to the end will be saved. 23 When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next. Truly I tell you, you will not reach all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.…"
In families the covert rudeness and mean treatment is becoming more subtle and diabolical, meaning from the devil so much so that those who live out their anger will deny the rudeness but never stop its practice. They feel justified in their hate even without good reason, except that we dared to tell the truth about God and His Word.
God's solution to this problem is not to attempt to "talk it out" with the wicked offenders, the more you speak the worse they become, using every word and action as they twist it to mean what we didn't say or do. We cannot reason with those who have chosen hatred and refuse truth.
Isaiah 66:5
You who tremble at His word, hear the word of the LORD: "Your brothers who hate you and exclude you because of My name have said, 'Let the LORD be glorified that we may see your joy!' But they will be put to shame."
Our hope is not in people to change and treat us better, our hope is in Christ that He will preserve our hearts no matter what evil people do. One day soon there will be justice for us and it will be Christ Who carries it out.
Isaiah 66:5,6
Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed"
Hallellujah!!!!

Will Trump Make America Great Again? What Does The Bible Say?

Obey Christ not Man

I was mocked and demeaned by Christians when I said that there is no command in scripture to vote for our leaders, meaning we are free to choose to vote or not to vote.
Here's the thing; Our country is so wicked right now that "even the elect are being fooled" about everything. They are judging people as Christians who are not and have no life testimony of having been changed by Christ into a new creation. They equate "conservatism" with Christianity.
Many of the people I know who attend church every week become angry when they are challenged to obey the Word of God just as God told it. They judge others based on superficial things God never commanded and expect us to honor their ideas rather than seeking Christ for the truth.
I hear prominent preachers chastising the people to vote as though it were a command of God when it is not. If we are a remnant, and I know that we are, what makes these preachers think we can put our thumb on the scales and make a difference causing people to do what is right.
When God said we are to be salt and light He didn't mean make unsaved people follow God's principles, He meant to bring the gospel to the unsaved. We are not about making unsaved people look like good people we are to encourage them to become born again so they will "Be" what God will make them if they trust in Christ.
Jermiah 11:13-15 "…13 Your gods are indeed as numerous as your cities, O Judah; the altars of shame you have set up—the altars to burn incense to Baal—are as many as the streets of Jerusalem.’ 14 As for you, do not pray for these people. Do not raise up a cry or a prayer on their behalf, for I will not be listening when they call out to Me in their time of disaster. 15 What right has My beloved in My house, having carried out so many evil schemes? Can consecrated meat avert your doom, so that you can rejoice?…"
We have a statue of a false god hovering over this country in New York Harbor that most "Christians" think is a simple of liberty but that is really a worship of freedom instead of God. It was given to us by a pagan nation, France. It is the Roman goddess Libertas.
Most Christians in this country have been brainwashed to believe we are a Christian nation, but the brand of it is cultural, not godly.
We know the god in most hearts is not the God of the Bible but their own desires, their own freedom, their love of self.
No one who is born-again would be angry when scripture is quoted to prove the truth, and yet I see this all the time among churchgoers. At the very least they ignore the truth teller completely and even exclude them in subtle ways to keep them from having influence.
We are a remnant in our country and in the world, we have no political power but we are not called to that, we are called to speak the gospel and encourage those who have become born again to follow the Words of Christ. He is the Word, the Bible is His instruction book to us, to ignore it is to ignore Him. To change what He says is to demean Him.
John 20:30-31
"30 Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."
John 1:1
"1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
Jesus Christ is the Word, He is the essence of His Own Word.
Once again I write; to ignore the word of God is to ignore Christ.

Do not Ignore the Holy Spirit

Narcissists are Controlled by the Evil One

Narcissists are not aware of how they hurt others because they have been trained by demons that what they are doing is good.
They think their rudeness and demeaning actions are justified even if they cannot verbalize why they do what they are doing. They even deny the way they are because the father of lies is their father.
When we understand where the personal attacks are coming from and that is not about us at all we can feel sorry for those who are under the spell of the devil.
1 John 5:18-20 "…18 We know that anyone born of God does not keep on sinning; the One who was born of God protects him, and the evil one cannot touch him. 19 We know that we are of God, and that the whole world is under the power of the evil one. 20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true—in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.…"
Those of us who love the Lord with all our hearts cannot understand why someone would enjoy battering emotionally and spiritually another human being. We can only know who is the author of it and his purpose is to cause frustration in us so that we react giving the narcissist an excuse for their continual attempts at derailling our walk with Christ.
Remember Christ lives in us and no one can overpower Him or us.
Luke 4:6
"I will give You authority over all these kingdoms and all their glory," he said. "For it has been relinquished to me, and I can give it to anyone I wish."
John 12:31
"Now judgment is upon this world; now the prince of this world will be cast out."
John 17:15
"I am not asking that You take them out of the world, but that You keep them from the evil one."
Everything the devil throws at us is thwarted by Jesus Christ Who lives in us and everything we encounter brings strength and growth in us.
James 1:2-18 "2 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds,
3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.
4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.
7 For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;
8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
9 Let the lowly brother boast in his exaltation,
10 and the rich in his humiliation, because like a flower of the grass he will pass away.
11 For the sun rises with its scorching heat and withers the grass; its flower falls, and its beauty perishes. So also will the rich man fade away in the midst of his pursuits.
12 Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.
13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one.
14 But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire.
15 Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.
16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers.
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.
18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures."
We do not have to fear the attacks of the devil because Christ has our backs every day and all day long.
