Sorrow is not Always Repentance

Being sorry someone will not like us because we got caught in a sin is a far cry from feeling shame that we offended the Holy God.
Crocodile tears are not always brokenness over sin, sometimes they are just sorrow that we didn't get something over on someone.

Apology is not Always the Right Thing

If someone becomes angry at the truth then that anger is on them not the one who told the truth.

We were leaving a church gathering many years ago because of the strong teaching on Calvinism. I was told that we were being divisive for leaving, as though once you attend you are now obligated to remain whether or not you agree with the teaching.

My answer to the person who attempted to intimidate me into believing we were sinning by leaving was this: "it is not the one who points out error or who leaves who is sinning but it is the one who brings the error.

Never allow anyone to cause you to believe you are disloyal by telling the truth or by leaving those who refuse to change their false doctrine.

Under the guise of "just get along as love", many people tolerate and even celebrate bad doctrine so that "feelings" don't get hurt. Sadly to spare a person their feelings we have to offend God.

Does it make any sense to offend God who died on a cross for us just to placate sinful man? NEVER!!!!

Acts 5:29
"29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men."

Randy Roberts
Never apologize to anyone who gets offended by you speaking Bible truth.

"Christian" The Most Misused Term in Our Generation

Most of Christendom today violates more of His Word than they obey.

Matthew 15:7-9 "…7 You hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied correctly about you: 8‘ These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. 9 They worship Me in vain; they teach as doctrine the precepts of men.’”…"

Matthew 5:19 - "Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least. commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be. called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but. whosoever shall do and teach them, the same."

All you have to do is watch what happens next time you correct a disobedient Christian, you will be labeled the mean one, while they rage that you dared to admonish them.

Silence is not Golden, it Brings More Sin

We need more righteous anger among believers. I am sad to say that many believers think remaining silent or calm makes them more spiritual, but it only shows their focus is on themselves and how they appear. They have been intimidated to believe being strong and forceful is ungodly.

No Negativity Here!

We're not negative we just love fixing things. We don't need to talk continually about the good things because they are not what needs fixing.

When the roof is in good shape and is not leaking we don't talk about the roof. When the roof begins to leak then we are all over it because there is a problem.

When someone stands there in front of us and one shoe is untied we will probably tell them so they will not trip over their laces. When that same person stands there with both shoes neatly tied we don't notice or mention his shoes because there is no problem to be solved.

We live in a world that is in need of continual fixing. Praising up and down people for what is good and works only accomplishes one thing, that is "feelings" for that one person momentarily. However speaking of needed repairs to fix a problem will accomplish something for some time to come.

When nothing needs fixing there is no point in going on and on about what doesn't need to be done. When something needs fixing then there needs to be lengthy discussion on the solution.

Those who camp on good temporary feelings rarely have any solutions. After all, when all of our thinking is focused on what does not need fixing we are rarely even going to notice needed repairs.

I am so glad engineer building bridges, power plants and automobile safety spend more time on potential problems than they do patting themselves on the back for some good thing they did.

We can have wonderful solutions and strides in our life when we deliberately focus on making things better. Very little value in focusing only on "good feelings."

By the way, we need not "feel" badly for having to look at problems when we know addressing the problems is the first step in repairing damage. There need not be feelings involved in solutions, just a whole lot of thinking power that resolves issues.

Just saying! Those who make "feelings" their goal will always avoid problem solving. In fact these people will pretend there are no problems to fantasize about the way they want it rather than what really is. Then there will also be those who make problems that never exist because they are always offended over the smallest matters.

When we are led by the Holy Spirit we can face everything, good or bad with courage and resolve to carry on the way Christ wants us to do.

Romans 5:3-5 "…3 Not only that, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us.…"

The New Creation Expeprience

Unbelievers don't know they are not joyful. Those who become born again didn't realize how unhappy they were until they became a new creation by the hand of God, then the joy was overwhelming and overflowing.

It is when we have become born again that we realize how amazing Christ is and the change He has made in us.

John 15:10-12 "…10 If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. 11 I have told you these things so that My joy may be in you and your joy may be complete. 12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.…"
