We are Only the Messengers
It is no human beings' job to "save souls", it is only and always the job of the Holy Spirit to convict of sin and restore when there is repentance.
Born-again people are merely messengers to bring the message of the gospel and it is the job of the Holy Spirit to use it in the lives of those who hear.
We can rejoice with the messengers who saw the fruit of their message and the work of the Holy Spirit but only Christ gets all the glory.
Matthew 4:10
"Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, Satan! For it is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.’”
John 4:24
"God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”
Romans 12:1
"I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship."
When our focus is on Jesus Christ and only Him all day long we can praise Him for His work in the lives of individuals.
