Do Not Fall into the Devil's Trap

So many people are falling into the trap of the devil engaging in conflict with other believers over things that are not scriptural.
The devil is busy placing thoughts in the minds of those who are easily manipulated by emotions and feelings.
The devil wants to destroy Christian relationships even more than he wants to ruin the unbelievers. If he can remove the support system of the believer he has a better chance of shipwrecking the faith of those who are born again. He can diminish our witness for Christ, even discrediting God the way he did in the garden when he convinced Eve God was deceiving her by withholding information and her potential to be like God.
The more believers are engaged in foolish drama the less they are speaking the truth of the Lord. The more they are debilitated by this drama the less they are confident in sharing the gospel with those who are perishing.
So many believers are continually barely swimming with their heads above water that they have no strength to speak the truth or to stand strong in the face of spiritual attacks.
We must ignore the attacks, remain calm and resolve to be steadfast no matter who or what comes against us.
The fear among believers is growing, fear that leaves them distracted from their calling in this world. They are busy wanting to save a political structure that is corrupted. We are not called to save this political structure, we are called to speak the gospel to the unsaved and warn believers to remember to follow Christ, not the world.
We are living in days when narcissism is rampant, families are fractured and few people care about one another in a very real way.
God to us to do the following:
Romans 12:10
"Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor."
1 John 4:20 s
"If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen."
Ephesians 4:2
"With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love,"
1 Corinthians 1:10
"I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment."
How do we obey the command to agree with one another? Its quite simple, we must seek the Lord together in prayer and study of the word when there is disagreement until the Lord brings us to an agreement.
1 John 3:14-19
"We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. Whoever does not love abides in death. Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. By this, we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. ..."
There are brothers and sisters who are in need, not of material goods but in need of spiritual ane emotional companionship. They are alone in their walk because everyone around them is ungodly and unsupportive of their desires to obey Christ.
Many of us if not most have all that we need in this world, but what we lack is the spiritual and emotional companionship of other born-again believers. Some are in church gatherings but lack spiritual and emotional support because so many in those gatherings are apostates and pretenders.
It is not easy to find godly friends who love the Lord more than they love their life on this earth.
1 Peter 1:22
"Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart,"
Thank the Lord for Facebook and other internet means that allow us to connect in this day of leanness of companionship.
1 John 5:3
"For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome."
