Beware of False Religions Claiming to be Christian

"Pleading the blood of Christ" over situations and people is not Biblical. It comes from a Pentecostal movement with much wrong doctrine.
This belief is based on the premise that faith is a force that has power. The faith is in faith not in Christ.
In the "Word of Faith" movement there are many doctrines that come from human desires and not God's Word. There is also a propensity to add to the word of God things that come from pagan worship. Like all false relligious systems there is adding too and subtracting from the Bible while integrating humanistic and pagan ideas that entice people.
One very devilish mentality in this movement is that it is alright to interpret the Bible the way we want as long as it is for God. Even practices that God never told us to partake in are justified by claiming the Holy Spirit said things He would never say.
The Bible, in this movement, is used as an outline to be added to and subtracted from as long as one's heart is doing it for God. When we love Christ we do not look for things we want to remake about the Bible, we look for God's actual words and His purposes as He dictated to us through the prophets.
Pentecostalism teaches that one is not saved unless evidenced by speaking in tongues. This has no basis in Scripture for salvation. The evidence of salvation is in the fruit of the Spirit that every believer possesses. This is Spiritual fruit that every believer can discern in every other believer, they are not works but are the character qualities of Christ that do produce works but are evident even when there are no works.
The thief on the cross had no time to do any good works for Christ. His salvation came about because He confessed Who Jesus Christ was and believed Him.
Galatians 5:22-23
"22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."
And! Tongues are for the unbeliever to hear the gospel not for believers in the gathering of believers.
1 Corinthians 14:21-23 "…21 It is written in the Law: “By strange tongues and foreign lips I will speak to this people, but even then they will not listen to Me, says the Lord.” 22 Tongues, then, are a sign, not for believers, but for unbelievers. Prophecy, however, is for believers, not for unbelievers. 23 So if the whole church comes together and everyone speaks in tongues, and some who are uninstructed or some unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of your minds?…"
The tongues movement now is not real tongues, it is babbling wildly without interpretation or the pretense of interpretation which is false. Someone once spoke in a tongue in front of me and another person gave the interpretation, it was this: "God loves you", this was not the gospel and it was not to unbelievers. The Bible tells us what we should know we do not need a tongue to impart this to one another or to unbelievers who speak our language.
We have no need to speak in a tongue to someone who speaks our own language and we have the Bible now, we can speak the plain words of the Bible. There is so much showing off going on in these gatherings it is agonizing to watch.
Paul spoke in tongues because he was an evangelist reaching into countries where he didn't know the languages. The Holy Spirit moved in him to be able to impart the gospel to those who didn't know his language.
It is best to evaluate everything that people say and teach through knowledge of the Bible. To do this we must study and question all things.
Every time you hear a "buzzword or phrase" do not immediately become enamored with it, stop and pray asking God to show you the truth. You will be amazed at how you will become uncomfortable through the Holy Spirit at so much of what is going on today.
Search the Bible to discern what is true and what is just cultural or cultic. Notice the word "culture" comes from the word "cult." When we follow the culture we will not be following Christ.
The word culture comes from the Latin "Cultura" meaning to cultivate, fostering collective thinking. When we are "collective thinkers" we are not free in Christ to think with His mind. Often believers in Christ have to walk against the culture around them, and yes, even in the church gatherings in these last days.
Christ freed us from "group-think" to be able to be confident and bold when using His mind to form our thoughts. Thoughts drive our actions. Our actions prove what is in our hearts.
We cannot be different on the outside than we are on the inside. This is why it is vitally important to know the Word of God and learn to think with the mind of Christ.
We can only think with the mind of Christ if we are born-again and know His Word, the Bible while asking Him to give us wisdom in all things. When we do this we will think very differently from the world and even those in the apostate church gathering.
