Matthew 24:24 "For there shall arise false christs and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."
In these last days, we are seeing thrown at us many deceptions and many false teachers who are detracting from the Word of God through concepts added from the book of Enoch to the Bible. This book is demonic and full of contradictions to the Bible.
Sadly one of the means used these days is the attraction to "sci-fi" ideas that titillate the minds of those who lack faith.
When you hear phrases like; "I think it could be" followed by "since this is true", we know we are dealing with someone caught up in the ideas of their own mind and their own desires to be seen as having special knowledge, this is Gnosticism, that is any kind of knowledge for its own sake.
One of the tricks of the devil is to make an assertion based on desired thinking and then speak from that point on as though it is fact.
Many preachers today are adding to the word of God by concocting bits of information they choose to believe attaching "God" to it to make it sound like credible Biblical information. This ploy is common now and very deceptive.
One of these preachers is Billy Crone. He has an over-emphasis on sci-fi without credible evidence. His evidence is based on snippets of conversation by government authorities taken out of context to influence others to believe what he is saying. Billy has been of the "entertainment" mindset living in Las Vegas and has used sensationalism and levity to influence others into his false assertions. In short, he is an entertainer by nature.
By his own testimony, he states that he was heavily into the occult as a young man. Then he became a Christian rejecting those cults. However, I notice that he retains his "sensationalist" desire for outlandish unbiblical sci-fi, often adding to scripture, leaving out scripture, and stating his assertions as though they are facts.
The most used argument today that has influenced many Christians is the assertion that angels impregnated human women creating giants. This came from the book of Enoch and is blasphemy.
The reason it is blasphemy is that it asserts that devils have the same power that God the Father did when He impregnated the body of Mary.
Let's take a look at the nature of the devils. God conveyed clearly that angels do not procreate, they have no gender nor do they have a seed. They can appear as men in allusion but they do not become men. Luke 20
God also said that He created each after its own kind, a cat does not mate with a dog, nor do other different species of animals mate with each other. Angels are spirit beings without physical bodies, nor do they have a seed for the purpose of procreation.
If a man was possessed of a devil and that devil caused the man to impregnate a woman then the seed is the man's seed and would be a human baby.
In order to make the "Nephilim" be the product of spirit human interaction, one would have to add to scripture from other books that are demonic.
God said there were giants in the land at the time the men of God came to the daughters of men, that is godly men who slept with pagan women, that there were giants in the land at the time. Nowhere does it convey that the giants had anything to do with the union of the men of God and the pagan women. The bible does not state that the Nephilim were the offspring of the union of godly men and pagan women.
I am becoming more shocked all the time about all the popular and famous preachers who are believing this nonsense.
Now we are watching well-known preachers camping full-on with the sci-fi beliefs in which they are twisting Scripture as well as adding things to scripture to make it palatable with their desired sci-fi beliefs.
Much of this information about the Nephilim is "false knowledge" to influence people to buy books as well as exciting with pleasurable information that distracts them from God.
The deception is all around us now, probably more deception than truth is flying everywhere to deter believers from worship and faith in Christ.
1 Timothy 6:20-21 " 20 O Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you. Avoid irreverent, empty chatter and the opposing arguments of so-called “knowledge,” 21 which some have professed and thus swerved away from the faith. Grace be with you all.…"
We are becoming few now, those who desire the pure Word of God unadulterated. We are satisfied with seeking Christ as revealed in the Bible. We have no need for sensationalism or other sources outside the Bible for our truth.
Every book we read we read with the mindset to evaluate it according to the Bible. If the book we read does not match what God said in His Word then we discard that book and remain faithful to the Bible.
Brothers and Sisters beware of those who bring "new revelation" without strong Biblical evidence. Beware of those who snatch pieces of the Bible out of context to fit their desired belief. Question all things and discard anything that is contrary to God's Word.
Please do not be deceived by all these fanciful beliefs that only take us away from Christ. And, please do not be influenced by the popularity of the preachers who teach this silliness.
Popularity does not equate to truth, actually just the opposite. Often the most popular preachers are the ones deviating from the Word of God to entertain their flock.
Galatians 6:7-10
"7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith."
We will become like those we follow, books we read and people whom we hear regularly. Be careful to stay close to those who love the Word of God in actions not only in words. Watch what they love and who or what they speak about most, this will tell us where their loyalty lies.
