It is better to speak the gospel to the unsaved than to display our "religious practices" in front of them when they cannot understand what we are doing.
Romans 10:17 says, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God"
2 Timothy 4:1-3 "1I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of His appearing and His kingdom:
2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and encourage with every form of patient instruction.
3 For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires."
Preaching is given to bring the gospel to the unsaved, teaching is for the born again believer.
God never commanded us to preach to believers, but He did tell us to edify one another with the truth.
Teaching to believers in the church was given to the men in the gathering and for the women outside the gathering. Preaching was given to everyone and anyone who loves Christ as they go into their communities and the world to bring the good news of Salvation through Jesus Christ.
Never allow others to silence you when you share the gospel as you are out and about in the world. Those who have cultic rules about who can preach and teach will isolate you, attempt to intimidate you and even gossip against you as you are led by the Holy Spirit.
We are living in a "Christian" cultic system that makes up their own rules and defy often God's Word. We must drown out all the noise from these factions and keep obeying God even when we are hated for it.
Colossians 1:28
"We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ."
