Remove people from your life who hinder your walk with God.

2 Corinthians 6:16-18
… 16 What agreement can exist between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people.”
17“Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.”
18 And: “I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”
1 Corinthians 15:33 "Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.”
Our calling from God is to speak to the lost about Christ so that they may become born again. This does not mean that we become close friends with those who do not love Him.
Revelation 18:4
"Then I heard another voice from heaven say: “Come out of her, My people, so that you will not share in her sins or contract any of her plagues."
The introduction of worldly holidays and psychological thinking into the church gatherings has permeated the thinking of every Christian. We see often now Christians proclaiming principles that are not true defending them as if they come from the Bible but are not at all in God's Word.
Sadly, when challenged to rethink what they have been taught many become angry refusing to seek God while hanging on tightly to ideas that are comfortable for them but are devilish.
1 John 2:15-17
"Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. / For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not from the Father but from the world. / The world is passing away, along with its desires; but whoever does the will of God remains forever."
We know the love of the world dominates most people who say they are Christians because of the hostility that emerges when they are corrected with Scripture.
2 Timothy 4:2-4 "…2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and encourage with every form of patient instruction. 3 For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. 4 So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.…"
Many if not most things "Christians" defend today have no basis in Scripture but are wildly defended as if they were truth.
1 Timothy 4:1-2
"Now the Spirit expressly states that in later times some will abandon the faith to follow deceitful spirits and the teachings of demons, / influenced by the hypocrisy of liars, whose consciences are seared with a hot iron."
Titus 1:10-11
"For many are rebellious and full of empty talk and deception, especially those of the circumcision, / who must be silenced. For the sake of dishonorable gain, they undermine entire households and teach things they should not."
Church attendees will pit one family member against another because they don't like to hear from God's Word.
Romans 16:17-18
"Now I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who create divisions and obstacles that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Turn away from them. / For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive."
These are the days we are living in, many believers are without spiritual and emotional support, and we depend entirely on Christ to maintain our peace and joy because of Him.
Because we are depending entirely on Christ we will not be devastated at the anger and rejection toward us. Christ is greater than the devil who is causing all this mess and will lose in the end.
