Anger is based on Fear
When someone is angry and hurt it has more to do with fear than anything else.
When we do not have a spirit of fear we are not offended or angered easily. We know God sees it all, and knows the deepest truths about it so we fear nothing.
Psalm 46:1-3
For the music director. A Psalm of the sons of Korah, [a]set to Alamoth. A Song.
46 God is our refuge and strength,
A [b]very ready help in [c]trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth shakes
And the mountains slip into the heart of the [d]sea;
3 Though its waters roar and foam,
Though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. Selah"
Born-again believers who follow Christ are fearless. We need not be angry over any challenge because we see all challenges as opportunities to learn and grow stronger.
Since we are not concerned about what others think of us we are free to express ourselves and without anger when they express themselves.
Those who are fearful often rage at the smallest challenge. They cogitate continually on their "win or defeat" as they see it. For the born-again believer, every circumstance is a win because of the lesson in it.
If the "feeling" of fear comes over us we endure because we are anchored in the Rock of our Salvation, Jesus Christ. He goes through with us no matter what it is.
Feelings come and go, we cannot stop them, but we can control them while pressing on toward the goal.
Proverbs 3:5-6
"5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight."
"Feelings" are what we have when we have our "own understanding", mostly and almost always based on emotions. In other words we cannot trust ourselves because our emotions get in the way so we must go with truth.
God's Wisdom is Better than the World's Wisdom
Jesus Christ did not save born-again believers to be able to become their genie in a bottle affording them all their desires.
Christ came to save sinners to allow them to love Him and others. He saved us from our natural selves to glorify Him in all we do.
Our miseries on this earth are small compared to what we learn from them and our reward in heaven.
Romans 8:18
"18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us."
We cannot have great wisdom without boot camp. We cannot become strong without trials to show us things we would not otherwise understand.
Strength in this life comes from Christ in us as we obey His principles and believe His promises. If we do not obey and are unsure about His promises then we cannot expect to gain wisdom and sturdiness to remain faithful to Him in a world that presses on all sides to win us to its ways. We can resist because our Spiritual muscles have become like iron.
When we challenge one another to greater holiness we sharpen that iron, forcing us to face the truth about ourselves while willing to submit to Christ.
Proverbs 27:17
"17 As iron sharpens iron,
So one person sharpens another."
It is only a worldly person who is more concerned about the feelings of others than they are about the Spiritual and emotional growth that leads to greater blessing.
This world has nothing to offer the born-again believer in terms of wisdom, just the opposite, everything the world does works against the wisdom of God. What the world calls wisdom is foolishness to God.
1 Corinthians 3:18-20 "18 Let no one deceive himself. If any of you thinks he is wise in this age, he should become a fool, so that he may become wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness.” 20 And again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.”…"

We are Allowed Our Own Opinions!
It is amazing how so many people think that we are not allowed to have opinions about things if they like to do those things.
There is a mentality that is very strange now, that is we become under attack when we voice our own opinions about something if someone else likes what we dislike. They say we are judging others by saying we personally don't like something.
In fact, we are called names like; "judgemental", and even rude when we express our own opinions about something the world loves.
In my last post, I was told I was judgemental because I didn't like those silly ripped jeans. it is true, I have judged those jeans.
No one will be able to make me like them or silence me about them simply by calling me names and accusing me of things. I do have a right to my own opinion about them.
I understand that this tactic of shaming someone for their opinion has shut down many discussions and silenced wise people, the reason our culture has reached the downward slide we are have been in for the past 80 years.
I also noticed that those who chastised me for having an opinion were those who loved those jeans. I didn't attack their character for liking them, I simply said I was weary of seeing women in them. I get to have that, its my right and my opinion.
It always amazes me when someone is angry over a personal opinion, perhaps they need so desperately to be validated in what they do they cannot just ignore an opinion, they must make the one with the opinion seem bad, wrong or mean for having their own opinion.
Notice these same people afford themselves the luxury of having the opposite opinion, seems one sided and narcissistic to me. Just saying!
When our culture becomes so hyper-sensitive to criticism it cannot even hear another person express their opinion freely if it differs from theirs, then we know we are living in a narcissistic culture.
By the way I was blessed by those who affirmed my opinion because they had the same view. I like to write things sometimes that others can relate to but are a little apprehensive to bring it up themselves. It is nice to agree with others and to have others agree with us. So thank you all for your comments.
James 1:5
"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him."
James 3:17
"But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere."

We Think Entirely Different From the Culture Around Us
Do not be surprised when family and their friends don't understand you, it is to be expected. Believers think very differently from the world, even the opposite.
We process things in light of God's Word not in what the culture likes. We are not in bondage to the opinions of the culture as are the unbelievers.
Get used to the idea that we will never fit into the world around us but we can be innocent in our ways and actions toward them. Even when they are raging at us we can remain calm, unaffected and unmoved by those who hate us.
What an incredible freedom we have to be who we are in Christ no matter what the enemy throws at us.
1 Corinthians 15:57-58 "…57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! 58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast and immovable. Always excel in the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."
Everything that happens to the believers has a purpose, nothing is wasted and nothing goes unnoticed by God.
Proverbs 21:21
"He who pursues righteousness and loving devotion finds life, righteousness, and honor."
1 Corinthians 16:10
"If Timothy comes, see to it that he has nothing to fear while he is with you, for he is doing the work of the Lord, just as I am."
Galatians 6:9
"Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
2 Peter 3:14
"Therefore, beloved, as you anticipate these things, make every effort to be found at peace--spotless and blameless in His sight."
When Christ Changes Us
When Christ changes us after trusting in Him, He makes us completely different from what we were before. No child of God keeps on living a lifestyle of sin when they have been changed by Christ. They hate what God hates, sin, and love what He loves, the righteousness of Christ.
Those who think they can still enjoy sin and have Jesus too, have not been born again. Christ changes all those who want to be changed by Him. Those who only want to be safe and happy but don't want Him will not be changed by Christ. These people are attempting to come into heaven through the wrong door of their own attempts at goodness.
1 John 3:6
"6 No one who remains in Him sins continually; no one who sins continually has seen Him or [a]knows Him."
Those who fight against correction from the Bible do not know God.
Matthew 7:15-20
You Will Know Them by Their Fruits
15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
Galatians 5:22-23
"22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."
1 John 3:8-10 "…8 The one who practices sin is of the devil because the devil has been sinning from the very start. This is why the Son of God was revealed, to destroy the works of the devil. 9 Anyone born of God refuses to practice sin, because God’s seed abides in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. 10 By this the children of God are distinguished from the children of the devil: Anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is anyone who does not love his brother."
Pretenders are those in the church who attend the services, do all the things expected of them to appear spiritual but have not trusted in Christ. They love the idea of a church gathering it makes them feel safe and secure, but it has no saving grace.
Matthew 7:17-19- "17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire."
May each person reading this evaluate themselves to see if they are a pretender of a born-again believer in Christ.
When the People Gave Up Their Faith
During the COVID shutdown people didn't know how to worship at home, they were forced out of the buildings and didn't know what to do with themselves.
When they became used to not attending and could go back many did not. I believe it was a test that those who loved God could worship without that building and those crowds, they could continue in Spiritual ways without all the trappings of modern Christianity but those who were superficial dropped their faith when they could no longer go to a building.
The one-man-paid-pastor system made the people feel like they needed that "pastor" as the mediator between them and God, they depended on him instead of the Holy Spirit.
When our spirituality is based on tradition, organized religion and men, we will not seek the Holy Spirit. The rituals of religion will take priority over the Bible and the Holy Spirit.
John 16:13 “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come” 14 He will glorify Me by taking from what is Mine and disclosing it to you.
John 14:17
"the Spirit of truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you do know Him, for He abides with you and will be in you."
John 14:26
"But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have told you."
1 Timothy 4:1
"Now the Spirit expressly states that in later times some will abandon the faith to follow deceitful spirits and the teachings of demons,"
If a believer depends on a man more than the Holy Spirit then they have an idol!
America Had an Opportunity and Has Lost It!
America had the opportunity to be the most Spiritual nation in the world with all the blessings of truth God has given us but we squandered it while placing our trust in the freedom to sin above everything else even Christians defend sin rather than rebuke it.
America is so far gone there is no return from the attitude of sin and self-gratification.
I have encountered "Christians" who boast about their sin and even defend it more than I have encountered those who speak the truths of the Bible and actually want to follow it.
If God would tell Jeremiah to stop praying for a nation because it was too far from God He would no longer answer, what makes us think we are better than the nation in his day?
Jeremiah 11:14 "14 As for you, do not pray for these people. Do not raise up a cry or a prayer on their behalf, for I will not be listening when they call out to Me in their time of disaster. "
Most people who say they are "Bible believing" are not telling the truth, if we followed the Bible and cared deeply about God's principles would never defend their violation and even throw under the bus those who speak the truth.
Disaster is coming to America very soon. American Christians will not be prepared for it and most will be shown to be pretenders when they lose their faith because they will be losing their freedoms to ignore God.
1 John 5:16
"If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he should ask God, who will give life to those who commit this kind of sin. There is a sin that leads to death; I am not saying he should ask regarding that sin."
Psalm 66:18
"If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened."
Jeremiah 7:16
"As for you, do not pray for these people, do not offer a plea or petition on their behalf, and do not beg Me, for I will not listen to you."
Jeremiah 11:11
"Therefore this is what the LORD says: 'I am about to bring upon them a disaster that they cannot escape. They will cry out to Me, but I will not listen to them."
Jeremiah 14:11
"Then the LORD said to me, "Do not pray for the well-being of this people."
God gave us the example in Jeremiah's day that relates to the condition of America today. God's heart and principles do not change. He is patient but the time of His patience is nearly over with America.

Past is Gone and the Future We Cannot Know, Focus on Christ
We can't change the past and the future is unknown, it is useless to cogitate and worry about these things. The devil wants us to regret past sins and worry about what will come in the future because it keeps us off our game in this walk with Christ.
We learn from the past but we do not have to act as though it is still with us. We have confidence in the future because Christ holds it for us.
Isaiah 40:29 "He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.
Deuteronomy 31:8 "It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”
Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Exodus 14:14 "The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”
Our hope is not in anything in this world, it is in the life God has waiting for us when we pass from the world into eternity with Him.

Innocent in Evil this is God's Command
In recent years I have been confronted with Christians telling me all kinds of muck that is going on in the world that I am not personally responsible for.
They say; "we need to be informed" as though if we choose not to know the filth going on we are somehow a bad citizen. My answer to that is when God leads us to do something then we do it, but I do not go looking for filth and rank rebellion to just know about it. This is Gnosticism at its worst. Gnosticism is the worship of knowledge for its own sake, just knowing is enough.
Many people have said to me; "we need to be informed", my question to them is "why", is it necessary for me to know all the secret plans of wicked people?" God tells me what I need to know when I need it to carry out His will. I do not need to search out all the filth and lies of the world just to feel informed. It is paranoia that leads people to feel this extreme need to prepare for things they can't even prove is going to happen. God knows the future, when I need to know something or do something He will tell me. I cannot and will not be driven by media hype or paranoid people.
Ephesians 5:11-14
"11 Do not participate in the useless deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; 12 for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. 13 But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light. 14 For this reason it says,
God wants us to expose evil when we are confronted with it by warning others not to have anything to do with it. Exposing evil does not mean go looking for filth to talk about it to others. Notice verse 12 which says; "12 for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret."
Proverbs 4:23-27
"23 Watch over your heart with all diligence,
For from it flow the springs of life.
24 Rid yourself of a deceitful mouth
And keep devious [a]speech far from you.
25 Let your eyes look directly ahead
And let your [b]gaze be fixed straight in front of you.
26 [c]Watch the path of your feet,
And all your ways will be established.
27 Do not turn to the right or to the left;
Turn your foot from evil."
There was a time when the news media tailored their reports for the area in which we lived. Knowing what is going on in our own communities that we can be aware of for safety or to do something about makes sense. But knowing things just to know them without doing anything to change it or when it is impossible to change it has no value at all except perhaps to boast about the knowledge or to enjoy sensationalism for its own sake.
We cannot avoid knowing the filth of the world when it waltzes in front of us but to go looking for it for just one more tidbit to share is worth less than nothing.
The same people who are continually speaking about the filth and degradation of this world rarely utter the name of Jesus Christ. They are so consumed with the filth of the world that thoughts of Christ are pushed out of their minds.
Philippians 4:8
"8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is [a]lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think about these things."
We live in the world and we will see things that disturb us, but deliberately perusing the internet to find what we would not see if we didn't search for it is a demonstration of the same mentality that used to watch soap operas on TV back in the day. Drama for its own sake is sin.
We are to take care of the things God sets in front of us and not go searching for muck like it were silver and gold. God told us this;
Proverbs 2:3-5
"3 For if you cry out for insight,
And [a]raise your voice for understanding;
4 If you seek her as silver
And search for her as for hidden treasures;
5 Then you will understand the fear of the Lord,
And discover the knowledge of God."
If believers would search for wisdom through prayer and Bible reading as much as they search out the goings on in the world their wisdom would be immense. As it is many believers are buying into things that are not even true as though they must know them.
James 1:5
"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him."
Colossians 3:16
"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God."
James 3:17
"But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere."
Proverbs 3:13
"Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding,"
Would a believer many years ago go to the section of the city where prostitutes and criminals hang out just to know what they are doing, NO, they would separate themselves from them except to share the gospel, but they would not continually go to these places to see whatever filth is going on there and repeat it to others.
This is what is happening with believers, only they do not go to the Tenderloin district for their gossip, they go to the local news, the internet, and the conspiracy sights to learn things that are questionable at best.
We are living in times of great deception in which God said even the elect will be fooled. Nearly everything all the time has lies and deception, even the conservative news thinks it is alright to tell lies because they think their cause is right.
The great deception of our day is so monstrous and overgrown that it is impossible to know what is true and what is not. It is better to ignore it all and deal with whatever God places in our path, He will never tell us a lie. But He will allow us to believe lies if that is what we want more than we care about truth, merely for our own entertainment.
Those who think they can make the world better in these last days of apostasy are not reading their Bibles or they are reading with a worldly mindset.
We are in the last days as described in 2 Timothy 3 and the rest of the Bible. We cannot change what is going to happen but we can share the gospel with the unsaved and encourage the born-again believer to keep looking at the world and remain focused on Christ. If He wants us to act we can obey Him, but if He does not tell us to do something then we can, without guilt, obey Him. Any pressure from others to "do something" because they have been taught by this world they should, can be ignored.
Satan loves to distract believers from their calling of the gospel and encouragement to the believers. He likes nothing better than placing corruption and contamination in our minds to deter us from what God gave us to do. He also loves to dominate our minds with depravity.
I am reminded of the story someone about the brownies. He and his wife went out for the evening with the instruction not to watch certain things on television. They arrived home early to find the children watching something that they knew was not allowed. The children said there was only a little bad in it, but the rest was alright.
Dad and Mom went to bed. The next day the mother made a batch of brownies for the children and invited them to take one. As they began to reach for the brownie she said; "I must tell you that I made the brownies with good ingredients but only put a teaspoon of dog poo in the entire batch so it should be alright because there is only a tiny bit of dog poo., other than that they are alright.
No one would eat the brownies, then the mother told them "you wouldn't put corrupted food into your bodies, even a little, but you would put it into your minds."
My prayer is that born-again believers will take their focus off of this world and steadfastly read the Bible believing what He said in it. May believers stop filling their minds with filthy news content and replace it with God's Word, His principles, and His character.
As we read the Bible we will see all that is going on in Israel has been prophesied and we can hang onto the promises God has for the nation of Israel. What an amazing thing to be living in the very end of days when prophecy is playing out just as God said it would.
We cannot ignore the blatant things of the world that prove prophecy to be right, but we do not have to know the details of wickedness to expose what comes into our lives.
Jeremiah 4:22-23 "22 “For My people are fools; they have not known Me. They are foolish children, without understanding. They are skilled in doing evil, but they know not how to do good.” 23 I looked at the earth, and it was formless and void; I looked to the heavens, and they had no light.…"
When we know more about the details of evil than we know of God's Word something is seriously wrong.
Romans 16:19 "For the report of your obedience has reached everyone; therefore I am rejoicing over you, but I want you to be wise in what is good, and innocent in what is evil."
We are to come to Christ as little children, innocent" in the ways of the world. The more we know the details of evil the more our minds are corrupted.
