Ignorantly Arguing Semantics

The word "trinity" is not in the English Bible either but the concept is clearly there in the original languages. The word "rapture" means "snatching away" in the original language, therefore the meaning of the world "rapture" is the same as the concept of "snatching away."

None of our words in the English Bible are in the original languages, they were written in Greek and Hebrew. We can only translate into our own words the original Bible meanings because most people do not read Greek or Hebrew.

The English language does not have Greek and Hebrew words in it, so we have to transfer the meaning from those languages to our own. It is more important to get the meanings and concepts right.

Anyone who wants to use the silly excuse that a particular word we use to describe a Biblical concept, is not in the Bible, then they are ignorantly arguing semantics.
