Be Careful What You Love and Admire

Did you know the statue of liberty that stands in New York harbor is a false goddess, the goddess of liberty? She was given to America by France from the Free Masons.

She is the daughter of Babylon according to history. Also known as the goddess Diana of the Ephesians.

This ought to tell us a little about the United States and its system, that the government would accept this idol from France.

No Change No Salvation

All born again believers who have been changed into a new creation will endure to the end. They have been sealed with the Holy Spirit of Promise as a guarantee of their inheritance. God said it and I believe it.

Ephesians 1:13-14 13 And in Him, having heard and believed the word of truth— the gospel of your salvation— you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is the pledge of our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession, to the praise of His glory.…

2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new."

God is the One Who changes someone into a new creation, it is not our work, we cannot undo what God did. When we confess our sinfulness and desire to be cleansed by God He then sends His Holy Spirit to live in us forever.

Ephesians 2:9-10 "…9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life."

"Everlasting life" means forever!

Our salvation is not reliant on our deeds, however when we have been changed we hate sin, even when we fail we hate it and confess to be cleansed.

1 John 1:9 "9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

The misunderstandings come when we see people who claim to be Christians who have not changed in their lifestyle or thinking. No one can be born again without being completely changed. They process life the opposite of what an unbeliever does. They hate what God hates and love what God loves.

IF there has been no change and there is continued contempt for the things of God even though they say they are Christian, they are not born again.

1 John 2:3-5 "…3By this we can be sure that we have come to know Him: if we keep His commandments. 4If anyone says, “I know Him, but does not keep His commandments, he is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5But if anyone keeps His word, the love of God has been truly perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him:…"

Anyone who thinks they have never sinned cannot be born again. Anyone who makes excuses for their sin is not born again.

Born again means that one has been completely changed to the opposite of what they used to be. No change no salvation.

Does He Hear Your Prayers?

The key is to trust in Christ! He hears our prayers but He knows what is best for us, He may say no or He may give us something very different and better than what we asked for. Trust Him!

Proverbs 3:4-6 "…4 Then you will find favor and high regard in the sight of God and man. 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;6in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.…"

However He will not hear the prayers of those in disobedience to Him.

John 9:31

"We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, God listens to him."

Proverbs 28:9

"If one turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination."

Psalm 66:18

"If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened."

Praising the Lord in a Wicked World

We are under judgment right now! The sin is overwhelming in this country and the world. It is as in the days of Noah when everyone did what was right in their own eyes and no one will listen to the truth, but they will jump on any bandwagon that promises earthly wealth and pleasures.

It is time for believers to stop focusing on this world and begin their gaze toward the gospel to the unsaved before it is too late before the tribulation begins.

If believers would just praise God no matter what happens because what happens will be His will, we would have a whole lot of praises rising up to God. Perhaps someone will become born again because they see the joy and hope we have no matter what is going on around us. 

Philippians 4:4
"Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice."

Romans 14:17
"For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit."

Hebrews 12:2
"Looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God."

Psalm 5:11
"But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you."

Keep Looking Up!

When we are fixated on Christ and our home going we are more concerned about souls becoming saved than we are about what is going on in this earth. What is your focus!!!!!!!!

Seek God Now!!!!! Don't Drink the Coolaide!

I implore every born again believer to get on their knees tonight and ask God to show them what might be wrong. Ask for pure truth and nothing else, no rationalizations, nothing based on their desires, and everything based on God's Will.

I am begging you to seek God in this! The reason we should seek God is not to change anything but to be ready to see the truth and move forward in obedience to God.
