So much foolishness these days I am praying for a sense of humor. Since I can't change much I prefer to laugh at it.
Proverbs 1:25-27 "…25 because you neglected all my counsel and wanted none of my correction, 26, in turn, I will mock your calamity; I will sneer when terror strikes you, 27 when your dread comes like a storm, and your destruction like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish overwhelm you.…"
God laughs at our foolishness the way we laugh at the antics of a kitten or a puppy. He knows how humans can be, it must seem ridiculous to Him.
I recall an employee in a business my husband and I had a few years ago. This employee was caught using our cart that transported products to the kiosk, to pop wheelies around the kiosk during the time he was supposed to be working.
I heard what he was doing on a regular basis and laughed it was funny when it was described to me. Then I fired him, this was not the only infraction but the funniest one.
You see, humans sometimes do very funny things that cost them jobs, relationships and stability. God knows the best for us but we are so full of pride we think we can do anything we want our own way, but it all has a cost.
