Past Forgiven Sins

In these last days the devil will send ungodly people to accuse you of past forgiven sins. They desire to believe nothing has changed in you and that you are still no different from them.

DON'T BELIEVE THEM!!!

When you have trusted Christ and confessed your sinfulness you are no longer the same person Christ changed you. Nothing of your sinful past has a right to hang on to you.

Those who wish to think badly of you are those who have not been cleansed or saved themselves. If they had been they would rejoice that you are different as they had to become different.

Those who think they never did anything bad enough to be condemned to hell are on their way there right now.

Romans 3:23

"23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,"

Those who have been entrenched in the sin of self-idolatry can be cleansed too as long as they confess their sinfulness, and name the sins to identify them. Then ask the Lord to cleanse you as He shows you the sins that need expulsion from your heart.

When we cannot admit our sin we cannot be cleansed. We grow in holiness and the sins fall off as we confess them. God will not cleanse someone from sins they don't think they have but hang on to.

1 John 1:8-10 "…8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar, and His word is not in us."

Confess to be cleansed and enjoy the guilt free life of the born-again believer. No stone thrown at us concerning past sins will harm us or disturb us. Those who accuse of past forgiven sins, that is on them.
