I recall those family members who rejected Christ to the end of their lives. My immediate reaction to their death was; "now they know."
The initial reaction is a sadness that they chose hell. But after that, I remember they hated Jesus Christ and were His enemy.
My husband's mother rejected the gospel to the very end and so did his brother. The sadness I felt was that they hurt the heart of God through their hostile rejection of Him, the very God Who gave them life.
We are living in the final days before the rapture. We can expect most people to reject the gospel, there is not going to be any "revival." There will be some who will become born-gain, but few compared to the population of the world.
We are living as in the days of Noah when no one will listen to the truth, raging insanity grows and devastates the culture. As believers we continue to do what God told us to do but we must leave all the results to Him or we might be tempted to be discouraged.
Remember our hope for these end times is not the conversion of the world, we know that will not happen. Our hope is the rapture in the final days before the tribulation.
In these last days the churches are so apostate they sell a watered-down gospel while rejecting those who want the real thing.
John 14:1-6 "14 “Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.
2 In My Father’s house are many rooms; if that were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I am coming again and will take you to Myself, so that where I am, there you also will be.
4 And you know the way where I am going.”
5 Thomas *said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going; how do we know the way?” 6 Jesus *said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.'"
Do not lose heart brothers and sisters rather praise God every day for what we know is coming soon, our Savior for His Bride!!!!
