To Agree is a Command from God

God also commands us to agree, it is a command. The Holy Spirit does not tell two people two different things, He teaches truth to every born-again believer who is seeking Him. If we are all seeking Christ then we will all agree and all be learning. This is not a compromise of the word of God, it's seeking God and all hearing from the Holy Spirit.
Amos 3:3
“Do two walk together, unless they have agreed to meet?
Colossians 2:8
"See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ."
2 Corinthians 6:16
"What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, “I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people."
The problem in our culture is that most "cultural Christians" are not seeking God and are dedicated to a humanistic gospel based on man, not God.
If you have a friend who is not interested in the Word but calls themselves a Christian then it is time to walk away and pray for them.
If you have a friend who is angry at the mention of the word of God then it is not possible for one who diligently follows Christ to be friends with them.
On questionable things, we can ask God and allow others to disagree without arguing or fighting. On man-made rules that God never commanded we are free to ignore them. However, if a brother is offended by a particular thing because of their weak faith, then we can refrain from that thing so as not to be a stumbling block to them. Distractions are many, no need to add what we believe is a minor matter.
If a brother does not eat meat I will not give up meat in my home but when that brother comes to my home for dinner I will not serve meat. The meat would be an unnecessary distraction.
Our goal as a believer is not to make other people do what we do, but to do ourselves what pleases Christ. Christ is pleased when we do not make an issue out of food, or styles of clothing if they are modest.
1 Corinthians 1:10-11
"I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment. For it has been reported to me by Chloe's people that there is quarreling among you, my brothers."
