My husband and I had to give up our cultural Christianity and Catholicism to follow Christ. Please stop talking about your pastor or special speakers, your denominations, and begin speaking only about Christ.
When we call America a Christian nation, we send the message to the rest of the world that all the evils that are a part of this nation are the very definition of Christianity.
