HE Did That, Not Me!

HE Did That, Not Me!

We are living "as in the days of Noah."

We must remember that Noah preached 120 years and no one would listen.

The world is waxing worse every day, without conscience over their deeds.

I used to see people ashamed when they get caught in sin, not any more, they are defiant rather than ashamed. It is impossible to reach a defiant person.

Jeremiah 6:15 ""Were they ashamed because of the abomination they have done? They were not even ashamed at all; They did not even know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; At the time that I punish them, They shall be cast down," says the LORD."

God told us it would be this way. My prayers are no longer for our country or the world, but for individuals who still have a sense of tenderness in their heart.

God will not give salvation to those who do not want it.

"And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life." John 5:40

"Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28

Psalm 119:108 - "Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me thy judgments."

John 12:32 -
"And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me."

2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance."

John 5:24 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life."

Matthew 7:21-23
"21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

The frightening thing for me is knowing that so many who think they are going to heaven, are not, they have never been changed into a new creation, they have a false hope that they are good enough to enter. But look what God says to these people who think they are saved, but are not;

God says to them, "I NEVER KNEW YOU."

Salvation in Christ is not a matter of just deciding to be a Christian, it is having confessed that we are sinful beings and need to trust Christ and what He did on the at cross on our behalf. We have to want Him to change us. Our personal works to try to be good enough for God do not gain us heaven.

Isaiah 64:6 "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away."

Our good works in the flesh are stink in God's nostrils. He wants us to submit to Him, let Him do the changing in us that we need, then we will be a completely different person from who we used to be before knowing Him.

2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
