Signs of the Times

One of the signs of the end times is an increase in homosexual activity, not only a blatant display of it, but also persecution for believers over it. We have already seen this in the actions against bakeries for not making wedding cakes for same sex marriages.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10
"9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor [a]effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God."

Matthew 10:22
""You will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved."

We see the movie industry pushing the agenda of this abomination to such a degree that it is becoming common place in the news, sitcoms and movies to show acceptance of this wicked behavior. Soon believers will be discarded by their families for refusing to attend the weddings of same sex marriages. Interestingly enough, those who shout discrimination the loudest, will be those who discriminate openly and aggressively, against anyone who does not go alone with their agenda.

It is not only the acceptance of immoral behavior that is increasing but also the acceptance of the attacks from Islam on believers all over the world. There have been an increase in converts to Islam in our universities, the same people who could not be converted to Christianity and have rejected "religion" on campus, are embracing Islam.

In the news this morning I heard of Islamic factions murdering Christians in Kenya. Nearly every week now we see attacks on Christians for their faith in some part of the world. Do we really think we are going to escape it here in America?

The attacks of believers, has already begun in the form of sanctions on the businesses of Christians for not bowing to the homosexual agenda. We are watching many people jumping on this band wagon to punish anyone who does not agree with allowance for sin, even ruining their livelihood to force the culture to fear them.

The mentality that exists in the country today to place sanctions on those who are believers, is the same mentality that causes those in other countries to behead and chop in half, those who will not accept Islam. The hate for believers comes from the same source.....the devil himself.

Demonic activity has increased to such a degree that righteousness is very hard to find anywhere. All around us we see more and more people accepting wickedness, while those who would not do it themselves and are uncomfortable with it, remain silent out of fear.

If you want to test a "Christian" to see how deep their Christianity runs, speak truth to them using the Word of God, challenge their walk and watch what comes out. Anger and hate will spew out of the hearts and mouths of those who are pretenders. They will accuse you of all kinds of things to avoid facing their superficial phony Christianity. Pretenders are embarrassed to quote the Bible to others, they have no burden for the lost and are immersed in this world.

On the other hand a true believer will be thankful that you challenged them, they will be sure of what they believe and unshaken over the challenge. There will be joy in their hearts to be able to speak about the things of the Lord and feel blessed to encounter another true believer. Their spirit will bear witness with the spirits of every other born again blood bought believers.

The closer we get to the end of this church age, the more we will experience rejection and be accused of things that are not true. The devil is working hard to twist the minds of those who have no defense against him. Those who used to love you will turn against you. Their greatest aim will be to intimidate you into silence. Everything you do will be maligned, to discredit you.

James 1:2-7 "2 Count it all joy, my brothers,[b] when you meet trials of various kinds, 3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. 4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways."

There is great joy and hope for those who walk with Christ. All these things that happen to us, are for only a short time, then we will go to our real home in heaven, where everything will be set right!!!!

I don't know about you, but I hate this world and all its wickedness, but have immense joy over what is coming.
