Want to be Intelligent?

Want to be intelligent?

Seek God for wisdom, that is the only way to correctly use the knowledge that we have.

Intelligence is not based on how much we know, but how we use what we know.

Sadly we live in a culture of young people under age 45 who think they know everything even though they have experienced far less than their parents and grandparents.

1 Corinthians 8:1-2 "1 Now about food sacrificed to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up. 2 The one who thinks he knows something does not yet know as he ought to know.…"

Proverbs 1:7
"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; Fools despise wisdom and instruction."

Colossians 2
"You Are Built Up in Christ
1 For I want you to know how great a struggle I have on your behalf and for those who are at Laodicea, and for all those who have not personally seen my face,
2 that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth [b]that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ Himself,
3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
4 I say this so that no one will delude you with persuasive argument."

1 Corinthians 1:25
"Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men."

Job 12:12 "12 Is not wisdom found among the aged? Does not long life bring understanding?"

Psalm 37:30 "30 The mouths of the righteous utter wisdom, and their tongues speak what is just."

Proverbs 1:7 '7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction."
