When we do not walk in fear, we sense no need to intimidate others into doing as we please. We can speak softly and leave all the results to God.
We can allow others to express their personality when there is no sin involved.
It is fear that motivates people to lash out when often there is no need to do so.
Those who are secure in Christ and comfortable with who they are in Christ feel no need to exact revenge when there is a disagreement.
Disagreements can be times of learning and even endearing ourselves to others, they need never be a vicious battle with the intent on winning or hurting someone to maintain superiority.
There is only a win when both parties in a disagreement have spoken long enough, each having their say, while coming to a consensus. When two cannot come to a consensus, then the loving challenge is expressed to go to prayer and Bible search to discover which one might be right.
Yep, this happens all the time doesn't it? LOL, LOL Most of the time these days no one leaves a conversation to revisit the Word and to pray for understanding.
We are never to compromise when we know truth, but we can always gather our evidence, comparing it with the evidence of the other person. But this does not happen either! Nope, mostly, few study, few pray and there is almost never a seeking after truth.....mostly!
