It is not the trials in our life that are the problem, but rather it is our response to them that makes all the difference.
Trials show us what is inside, if our response is rage and revenge, then the Lord still has more work to do.
A snotty response to correction is rage and it is revenge to act superior to the one who brings correction and rebuke.
2 Timothy 4:2-3 " 2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and encourage with every form of patient instruction. 3 For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires.…"
Those who are too arrogant to listen to correction or rebuke, are walking in pride and rebellion against truth. When the truth is taken from the Scripture, those that buck against it are like wild stallions raging against good sense.
