The Devil, the Father of Narcissism

Narcissists (of which the devil is the worse of them), cannot be loving, only those who love God with all their hearts can be so. Love seeks to find the will of God and speak it whenever, wherever the Holy Spirit leads them.

The narcissist hates truth because it flies in the face of their elevated view of self. They think love is never correcting but tend to correct and punish anyone who shows them what love really looks like. They hate the Scriptures because they are instructive and straight from the mouth of God.

Those who run hard after Christ, desiring every word He has written and leaning how that fleshes out in this life, will be misunderstood, often deliberately misunderstood. To validate the truth teller is to admit they are speaking from the Holy Spirit, narcissists cannot do this, they must bring down the truth teller.

The reason we are seeing constant and intense attacks of believers now is because the devil knows his time is short, he must attempt to destroy the testimony of the believer every way he can.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8
"4 Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant,
5 does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered,
6 does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Love never fails; but if there are gifts of [b]prophecy, they will be done away; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away."

2 Corinthians 4:8-12
"8 we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing;
9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; 10 always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.
11 For we who live are constantly being delivered over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.
12 So death works in us, but life in you."

For those of you that are being constantly undermined, even persecuted because of your faith, remember these passages, they will encourage you!
