There is no such thing as a carnal Christian. Carnality is hostility against God. Someone who has the Holy Spirit in them will not be hostile toward God.
Romans 8:7
"7 Because the carnal mind is enmity (hostility) against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be."
