"The Torah is the books of the Law. Since the Bible contains the books of the Law there is no need to use the Torah.
The New Testament gives the salvation message, the account of Christ's walk on earth and much more about character building in our walk.
We need the NT even more than the Law because we are no longer under the condemnation of the Law.
The Law has been written on our hearts, we love it but we don't have to work to follow something that is a very part of our being, it now comes naturally to us to want to walk with Christ.
Christ is the essence of His Law and He lives in us. Born again believers are no longer focused on the Law we have changed to focusing on Christ Who directs us, teaches us and guides us."

Galatians 2:16
"16 yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified."
