The Selfie Problem

The lie they told for 40 years was that we cannot love others unless we love ourselves. The truth is we are born loving ourselves too much. We must learn to love ourselves less in order to love others.

YES, YES!!!!!! Another Sister posted the poster below, and it is so true. Today selfies are all the rage......perhaps a part of the end times "raging insanity", many people are not even ashamed of being self absorbed. It comes from the idea that we must love ourselves first before we can love others. The truth of God is that we cannot love others better than ourselves as long as we love ourselves first.

Philippians 2:3-4 "3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves. 4 Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others."
