Many people need to get out of their heads the idea that they need a one-man pastor.
They need a plurality of godly men who have the gift of pastoring without the title.
The men have fallen asleep in the pews because they have been told they have no gifts and only that educated by a seminary person could have gifts.
The men need to prepare for speaking before they come and share what God has laid on their hearts for the gathering. All the men should have something from God to share.
Read about it in the Bible, the order of the gathering of the brethren.
Hebrews 10:24-25
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
1 Corinthians 14:26-40
"What then, brothers? When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up. If any speak in a tongue, let there be only two or at most three, and each in turn, and let someone interpret. But if there is no one to interpret, let each of them keep silent in church and speak to himself and to God. Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others weigh what is said. If a revelation is made to another sitting there, let the first be silent. ..."
All the men should be involved not only one man and no one is paid money to do anything in the gathering. This is God's Way and His Will.
When one man acts as the authority he negates the Holy Spirit in all the other men, leaving them to believe they have nothing to offer or that the Holy Spirit does not work in them. This is shameful.
