Democrats are like bad parents! They remove all the rules that constrain people from evil. They indulge bratty children to commit all kinds of sins and say or do nothing to correct them.
They punish righteousness and reward evil. In fact, they endorse the evil as though it were good while chastising those who bring good sense to repair the damage the liberals do every day.
Speaking good and godly sense will likely get the one who loves God in trouble with those who love their sin.
The rebellious fringe has now become the norm and the good sense Christian is the fringe.
Sadly though many leaders in the church are this way too. They do not lead to produce holiness, they lead to be popular and happy.
2 Timothy 4:3 "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but having itching ears, they shall heap to themselves teachers in accordance with their own lusts."
The church used to rebuke the sinners who were living badly, now the church rebukes the righteous one who speaks out against the sin. This is just how far we have come in the apostasy of our age.
The self-righteous of the church are more interested in sparing the feelings of those who sin than they are in upholding and revering God's Word as the standard for life and holiness.
The one who sins refuses to confess their sin to be cleansed while the rest of the church supports their rebellion.
1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
There is little cleansing in the church today because there is no confessing and because there is no confessing there is no spiritual growth. Many in the church remain spiritual infants for their refusal to confess their sin.
1 Timothy 5:20-21 "20 But those who persist in sin should be rebuked in front of everyone so that the others will stand in fear of sin. 21I solemnly charge you before God and Christ Jesus and the elect angels to maintain these principles without bias, and to do nothing out of partiality.…"
When someone sins in a public way, they must be rebuked in a public way. All we do influences others when no one speaks against the sin publicly and no one supports the one who spoke out then the sinner is further empowered to continue as they always have, that is enjoying their sin as though nothing is wrong.
John 9:41 "41“If you were blind,” Jesus replied, “you would not be guilty of sin. But since you claim you can see, your guilt remains.”
James 4:17
"Therefore, whoever knows the right thing to do, yet fails to do it, is guilty of sin."
Ezekiel 33:8-9 "…8 If I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you will surely die,’ but you do not speak out to dissuade him from his way, then that wicked man will die in his iniquity, yet I will hold you accountable for his blood. 9 But if you warn the wicked man to turn from his way, and he does not turn from it, he will die in his iniquity, but you will have saved your life."
