Discipleship is Dangerous in this Age of Apostasy

"Discipleship" in the sense of another person or group of people teaching a newborn again believer, concerns me nowadays because so many people and groups are not teaching pure Bible. It is better to allow a new believer to discover God on their own through reading the Bible.
I was discipled for a short time and the people who were attempting to teach me were telling me unbiblical things. I grew so fast in the Lord because I questioned what they were telling me and ended up being shunned for disagreeing with their bad doctrine.
All I was doing was reading the word and praying for the Holy Spirit to show me. I stopped any discipleship because of all the things they taught me that they had no scriptural support for. I am a strong believer that the Holy Spirit can teach a new believer better than anyone else. I am also convinced if a new believer gives up because no one is teaching them, then they were not serious about wanting Christ.
Man cannot teach another man better than Christ in them. When someone disciples these days they expect the hearer to become just like them, saying the same things and doing the same things. When questioning is disdained then we have a problem with pride.
Even a new believer through the power of the Holy Spirit can discern truth from error.
Too many people are attempting to replace the Holy Spirit with teachers out of bad seminaries, making them as wrong as they are.
Matthew 23:15 "
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you travel around on sea and land to make one proselyte; and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves."
If you are a new believer don't worry about being taught by other people. Just open your Bible and pray that the Holy Spirit in you will give you the understanding.
Anyone who says you must be taught by a man is lacking in good sense and faith. They are depending on the training of men rather than the Holy Spirit.
I am one who learned fast from the Holy Spirit and continue to learn every day. I listen to some preachers but can discern immediately if something is off because I have learned the Bible well. Those who rely solely on the writings of men more than the Bible will be taught many false things that must be unlearned before growth can occur.
John 14:26
"26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you."
Would anyone dare to say to the Holy Spirit; "that's alright God, don't tell me, I need to go ask the preacher?" Of course, this sounds silly.
We see no scripture that says be sure you go and find out from a preacher, but we do see many scriptures that tell us to go to the Holy Spirit.
John 16:13-14
13 But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take from Mine and will disclose it to you."
