We are living in a world full of people who concoct ideas in their heads far more than think rationally. So many people think if they think it in their head or hear it on the internet it must be true as long as it fits with their own desired way of thinking.
Proverbs 12:11 "11The one who works his land will have plenty of food, but whoever chases fantasies lacks judgment.…"
Those who think rationally based on Scripture led by the Holy Spirit will not go wrong and will have all they need.
Daydreamers are those who are so enamored with their own pleasures and self-elevation that they spend more time on their idle imaginings than they do in prayer or discussion with other wise rational people.
Proverbs 13:19-21 "…19 Desire fulfilled is sweet to the soul, but turning from evil is detestable to fools. 20 He who walks with the wise will become wise, but the companion of fools will be destroyed. 21 Disaster pursues sinners, but prosperity is the reward of the righteous.…"
Those who are addicted to their own desires will not be proper support for those who want to become godly and wise.
Every time a believer wants to grow in wisdom the unwise self-exalted person will attempt to demean, mock and deter the righteous from coming closer to God.
Often the unrighteous who love their idle imaginings will work to disconnect the righteous from their sources of support through gossip. Never fear brethren, they cannot disconnect us from Christ Who lives in us and they cannot discourage us from continuing toward holiness and wisdom unless we allow it.
For the born-again believer, we are not agitated or lonely through rejection, we are content to be alone with Christ. We do love to see other believers, connecting with those who love Christ, but if it cannot be we are fulfilled anyway.
It has been my experience that God always brings along a believing encourager right at the time we need it the most.
Romans 12:5
"So we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another."
John 13:34-35
"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Psalm 73:25-26
"Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."
Hallelujah!!!!! God never leaves us or forsakes us.
