Not by our own words alone!

We are not saved by words alone, our changed life is the evidence of salvation, changed through the fruit of the Spirit. Our changed life is evidenced in that fruit.

Galatians 5:22-23

"22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."

When we believe Christ comes into us and changes us entirely, we no longer think the way we used to think.

Those who remain stubborn, resistant to correction, worldly-minded and pleasure-seeking have not trusted in Christ but have trusted in their own ways and their own words.

When Christ changes us it is evident to everyone except those who fight against Christ, these are those who want to believe we have not changed because they do not want to believe the miracle of salvation Christ has done in us.

1 Corinthians 2:13-15 "…13 And this is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom, but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.

14 The natural man does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God. For they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15 The spiritual man judges all things, but he himself is not subject to anyone’s judgment."

May all those who are pretenders repent and trust in Christ to be changed by Him.

John 14:17

the Spirit of truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you do know Him, for He abides with you and will be in you.

1 Corinthians 1:18

"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God."

1 Corinthians 1:21

"For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know Him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe."

1 Corinthians 1:23

"but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles,"

1 Corinthians 1:25

"For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength."
